Okay, this is a very rough concept trial for Omicronmon - Jade's partner and Protomon's adult stage >_>; However, to clarify since all of Protomon's adult/armor stages are Omicronmon, this is Type Sigma, Protomon's Path A evolution. And as depicted, with his "Data Flow" as Type Yellow, this is his most potent attack form.

As for the pic itself... I intentionally just did a small portion of his body as this was a test, in many regards ^^;

Most prominently in terms of how to color Omicronmon o 3o While not to the same sort of tune as Protomon, he is supposed to have a sort of "solid energy" look to him - and when a Data Flow is active (such as in the pic) that data is constantly flowing through his body.

My lack of a tablet is a part of the handicap here... Instead of taking a sketch, using those lines, and overlaying color as I normally do... I effectively used my sketch only as a guide and then painted over it in order to get a different colored outline. I think it mostly worked... though the outline may benefit from some shine/light/code or something worked into it. And I probably also needed a few more lines, such as to show some better depth on his chest. And then also possibly make him look a bit more transparent.

....Ooooohh I like this. o 3o I get the solid energy vibe off of him, and I really like the circuit-line patterning and how intricate and detailed it is. And yeah, Yellow Devil influence in a very good way.

This also helps me picture what the Twins might tailor Digimentals and evolutionary attachments for him to be like. :3

Not quite there, but in the ballpark! o 3o;;

One issue with his not-quite-solid body was creating a better sense of depth for his eye, which almost looks more like a jewel or core here. I guess I should have tried making it float out in front of his main body a bit.

Here's a quick portrait of Adelaide, soon to make her debut in DU. I'm happy with how she came out in general... though think I should have made her face a little shorter (or maybe a bit wider and/or her eyes a bit bigger or something) to better emphasize her... shortness XD Well, that, and she's supposed to look a bit childish.

Anyway, some quick facts about Adelaide:
-Even though she's short and childish she's SUPER MATURE KTHX
-As a member of the Daedalus Initiative, she serves as Division IV's Vice Captain

The character of Serpentra is played by one Han Jae Hwa. Jae Hwa is a sweet girl and an aspiring actress and singer >_>; However what seems to follow her around when people occasionally recognize is that when she was a bit younger and trying to break into the biz, she did some modelling and starred in some Other sorts of videos <_<; BLAME GRAHAM.

I'll probably draw a normal pic of Jae Hwa before returning to Serpentra's design. Which is subject to some design and color alteration.

Pretty happy with the final result... guess it's just hard to improve much while I've barely been drawing enough the last few months to keep in practice ^^;

The main detail I'm still trying to work out with her is her hair - which is naturally magnificient. I tried to use some more outward-curving lines and thicker clumps here, which is probably a step in the right direction.

Well, this was a side of Jade I was going to wait before revealing... but D-Link's kinda stalled out and I'm impatient ^^;;

<_< No need to go into details, since I'm sure it's obvious who the only person who 1) Has a thing for maids in red dresses and 2) Has the allure and domineering presence to get someone like Jade into such a costume is XD

I *was* going to roll with the Nurse Synne comments and give an upskirt (would be no lingerie to be seen... though maybe something else under there >_> ) but decided to keep this one more readily enjoyable. Because I find the contrast of Jade - tattoo, piercings, and all - in a bright and frilly maid outfit to be highly entertaining on its own XD

I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out, though didn't get the perspective/proportions spot-on everywhere.

Here's concept art for one of my two upcoming Daedalus chars. I had wanted to draw my captain first, but have yet to have the final needed stroke of inspiration for him. So here's Jasmine, a Vice Captain... likely under Blues.

She's British. She's pretty... easygoing. Her attitude toward digimon is pretty relaxed, though that's partially a result of her personality in general, as her feelings about some of the Initiative's projects aren't as strong as some others'.

Pretty happy with how everything came out. I'll probably tweak her hair some and try drawing it a bit differently next time since this didn't translate to as full-bodied/lustrous of a hairstyle as I was thinking of.

So this tiny 'lil pic is actually my super-rough doodle made serviceable ^^;; To give myself a general idea of how to work out Jade's design.

I actually kinda like how her hair turned out. But that's about it XD I need not mention how horrifying the proportions are, so I'll skip those. Tattoo design is subject to change, but will likely remain something similar. Might darken her skin tone just a smidgen.

In memorial of the current Lion's oh-so-tragic passing, here's... >_> his future replacement.

I generally like the helmet design here - though noticed that parts of the golden mane on the left side of the helmet should have probably been visible towards the back (well after I had cleaned the scan up and started coloring). But also considering adding some more gold to the center of the helmet's design.

Fur is among the order of the day here, as seen on the gloves (which are part of her Lion armor), and the lace, which is patterned after it.

Proportions are iffy, since I'm still rusty and then tried messing with perspective without much success.

And yes, lazy background is incredibly lazy and twice as crappy >_> But I wanted to finish coloring this and go to sleep XP

Who doesn't love giant robots fighting in the winter-y streets of a sprawling, Noir-tinged, Art Deco Midgar? Nobody! Exactly why Twilight Waltz is being adapted as an AU game on DU's forum in the near future ^^

x_x First thing I've drawn... pretty much in 5 months, since the last thing I did for the sketcher. This was a quickie, just to do something and kinda work out the look of clothing. So proportions and stuff are probably a bit Meh ^^; Also was too lazy to shade or properly clean up scanner artifacts from the whites >_>

Anyway, this is Natsuki. Now, a Harbinger (mecha) or some hardboiled dude in a jazz lounge or the sights of an old subway station converted into a mercenary base would PROBABLY been a better first pic for the setting and not a childish 18 year old girl who refers to herself in third person and operates a dangerous, high maintenance machine with a HULK SMASH mentality... But oh well XD

The Pirate thread made me feel like another entry in Camille's dress up series. Though, whereas the Witchelny one's what she's actually wearing, I took some more liberties here... >_> Though this is actually completely within her range of wardrobe had I thought of this in advance.

Edges ended up a bit rough ^^; Had a whole lot of mess to clean up. This wasn't my original idea for a pose (was gonna draw her with her back turned on a ship), but while searching some pirate-tagged images for ideas on how to flavor her clothing a little bit more, I passed a B. Jenet pic in a pose that was hard to pass up XD So I instead went for something close to that. Didn't get it quite spot-on, though.

Same deal as yesterday pretty much ^^; Failed again at getting a digimon I've been trying to do right, and then went scanning through some images I have in hunt of some other things that might serve as good reference/inspiration, and instead came upon something else that was "...why yes, a pose like that would work nicely"

Proportions are a wee bit off >_> I swear they looked better on paper. Getting Noel's head better, at least (left the back of her hair a bit short again, though), which is nice since I'd like to draw a new profile pic for her one of these days.

Also wish I had the thought to draw in a background beforehand ^^;; door frame woulda looked better and it would have been easy to throw something kitchen or living room-y in the frame behind her.

Decided to give a pose I've been wanting to try a bit a shot after failing with a couple digimon sketch attempts.

So here's Junko and the best part of her perpetual bedhead: glorious glorious sex hair.

Her hair really isn't 'fluffy' at all, though, so even as pictured here I needa work on keeping it all closer in. I have just about settled on this for her hair color, though. Still playing with her skin tones a bit.

EDIT: Boo, noticed I colored in a chunk of what should be bedsheet just above her left arm as hair by accident ^^; Probably only adds to the poofy-hair problem.

...Somehow I don't think this is exactly what Mariah had in mind when she mentioned a Nana-Zephyra-Kasumi sandwich XD

But there are cute qualities, too! Like how Nana has to stretch up on her tip-toes in order to nibble on Zephy's ear! Doesn't that just make you D'aww? And what about the teamwork between Nana and Kasumi to make sure Zephy's hands aren't getting in the way? Sure that counts for something!

Anywho, apologies for the kinda crappyness with the poorly cleaned lines and rushed coloring job. I did really want to get this one out despite a number of imperfections (This would turn into a dissertation if I began to list them >_> This one isn't exactly my best work). But I do consider it good practice for people 'in contact', since I really haven't done much of that, and this is the first thing I've drawn with three people.

EDIT: And actually penciling in Zephyra's pupils... went a long way XD It looks like crap when I just try and color them in usually. I should do the before thing more often >_>
