I wanted to go back and draw this dance really badly. So i did. o 3o/

I wasn't sure whether to have a plain night sky as the bg or Cyan City, Cam suggested Cyan, but I don't even know where to start painting a city at night so I took a photo off google and did some fiddlin'.

While drawing this, I was reminded of my all time favorite Microfiction, by T.R. Darling/QuietPineTrees.

This took all damn day and I'm ashamed that it took all goddamn day. Every thing got my attention, everyone wanted my attention, and generally the weather we've had the past week has been one storm shy of biblical and that just fucks my drive.

That said, with this picture I wanted to try things and I damn well failed, so I figured why not return to my roots as a comic artist and manga this shit up? Jason covered the human half of the equation so I opted for the Digimon side of it.

So yeah, fresh from her redesign SKETCH, not final, here's Hagoromon having herself a dandy time with Okagemon....and yeah, if I was gonna go manga I went all the way.

Kasumi let Frey try one of Alice's baked cookies, which apparently have some of her LoE in them.

The result was...Explosive.

Kasumi got a laugh, at least.

Frey's Soulfire reacts instinctively if his emotional state goes into a rapid shift, or is especially powerful, and the emotions tend to taint the color as well...So ya. xD

Spent so much time deciding how to do the effects, I left the bg simple black to pull out the brights of the lighting the most and so I can just move on. xD

Decided to sketch up quick portraits fer three jerks who ain't had designs yet.

Up top we have Himatsubushi Sanzai, whom people will know as Cadence's ultra-handsome fiance with very nice eyebrows and a lot of money that he got very honestly. She's having his baby, which is definitely his and belongs to him.

The shaggy-haired guy in the raggedy shirt is a young man named Shugyoku Kyomu, a Tamer who was formerly enslaved by the Royal Knights, but isn't anymore, thanks Balin! You won't regret it!!

And finally, down there in the bottom right corner is Telemachus, no last name because he's a creepy cyborg weirdo who works for Sentinel and worships Ragnarok all day and that's all there is to say on the matter.

Was discussing Rekidenmon and her forms with Jess and found that across the board her forms were rather...fluid. Ideas wanted to form but couldn't be described and loose sketches being all that could be created due to mitigating circumstances. Thus, I decided to try my hand at some design so future drawings I do might be more solid.

To the left is Rekidenmon. As I was told the ears only pop up after maturation I figured that if you're mature, why hide any other fox like feathers, hence the sharpened nails and the feet. The previous design had a lot of clothing I thought might get in the way of previous designs so I tried to shorten it up some.

On the right is Hagoromon, who Jess told me was supposed to look more fox-like. The entire line, at least for the A-Track, is supposed to follow how kitsune donned the guise of humans before shedding them to unleash their power hence the more anthro look here. To carry on the sakura petal design I gave her a constant veil with the design as well as spread it what little hard armor she wears.

Between the two I was also trying to balance cup sizes. >_>;;

I wanted to draw Aine/Diva shenans a while ago, Cam suggested Diva forcing Aine into lingeries. Opted for the moment Aine comes out of hypnosis.

This might be the first time I've drawn Diva's actual child stage, just cause I usually draw lewds and anthro isn't my thing u 3u Still, felt like a disservice to Cam to avoid it forever. I mean, it is a good design.

I figured the ears would be the same as her hair was well but honestly? I dig the purple ears. Makes it look like she's a Yama. Or a Yama cosplayer. Either way!

You'll want to add more particle effects when dealing with LoE Fields and I think you forgot Celia's Guardian Script on her arm (least I think the right arm is the one with it) but overall I dig this. Kinda makes me wanan draw Tsu and Rosa just sort of staring at their Tamers...which I may do since today is my LAST DAY OF WORK.

Figured I'd post these quick doodles I been doing while trying to get tired enough to sleep.

Left to right:
I did a sort of, I suppose, prototype for either a Witchelny outfit or an updated Courage? Combines elements from both Dark Souls sets I tend to have him wear (Dragonslayer + Fallen Knight). Not sure on this one.

One of the things I been thinking about it that I had already planned to have Frey's flames reflect his emotions, but I hadn't thought of how they would specifically effect his Promethean Avatar. Here's an idea from pure, unbridled Rage. The flames become an unnatural, deep dark crimson tinged with black, and the Avatar twists accordingly with the negative emotions. Frey tries not to make it known that he actually has some issues with anger...he tries to keep his cool in all situations as a result, and is part of the reason he's always looking for the silver lining. Avoiding true, real anger is a must.

Frey's had experience as a Boxer in two seperate iterations, and it seems like a good enough reason for his strength and skill in DU. Something I would say he practiced when he was younger, but his journeys have put a stop to. Maybe now that he's settled in Cyan he'll pick it up again.

Won Jason's livestream sketch raffle last week and spent most of the weekend finishing this puppy. Gave myself the challenge of NOT using smooth coloring and relying entirely on cell-shading. ;-; it was hard. I missed my paint brush tools so bad but I think it turned out pretty awesome.

This just looks tasty. The iridescence of the scales really comes through with the coloring and using shading to apply the abs worked out nicely.

If anything, I'd watch your lower body there. It starts to thin up a bit much before hitting the waist. Or maybe that's just the size of the tits making me think that.

Cute as fuck, there. Lips might be a touch too pouty though, it's definitely making her look younger than she actually is. Eyes are definitely on point, though, and I do like how the shading helps sculpt the face.

She prolly looks too cute cause I was trying this lip painting, and I wanted a larger surface area to work on the lower area (hence why the angle is pointing down at her from above). I'm pretty sure I always had her with these glasses tho, specifically because I usually give girl much smaller framed glasses.

I definitely need more practice, especially with the coloring on the lips, but that's what it's all about o vo The tutorial use more subtle colors which I think would help with avoid the overly youthful look, since her lips turned out so pink.

Really, I should have just drawn lips and practiced on those xD But I think working without the context of a larger picture can make things worse.

I really like the sleekness to his design, and the grins shows a certain craftiness I never thought to give Lynx. And yeah, poor Lynx has been through a lot. Being hunters, spies, assassins--anything that required to them to stay in the shadows--the Darklynxmon species is known for their near-infinite patience. Thus Lynx was uniquely suited to be Jace's parter and keep the Valor boy's impulsive and volatile nature in check. Very much the inverse of the Valor/Lynx dynamic in DDT.

Well, I'm not quite back to 100% yet, so we're technically still on time here >_>

I think it came out really well o 3o Really captured the face and hairstyle I had gone for with Lucrezia, including the general sort of tomboy aura with it (also dig how you did her scar). Proportions with head size also look good considering that she's a short one at the 5ft mark. Definition's nice, and you can clearly see the weight of your lines, especially in terms of her left leg and the effect of her right foot being under her left thigh.

I'll echo Graham - I think how her lower right leg's accentuated makes it look a bit more like an armored/robot/Digimon leg than a human's, maybe? I think it's mostly how the muscles and knee work together; the outside shape of the leg itself looks good. In contrast, her left leg came out better.

More stylistically, the redness and sweat on the body is a nice touch. It's done really nicely, but I suppose Graham has a point by saying there's a lot of sweat XD Must have been some workout >_> I do also like how you adapted the cut of her top.

Yeah, the muscle work I'm still working on. I'm more used to curves than I am structured muscle when it comes to females and unfortunately my references either went full body builder or noodle limbs. I'd go to the gym to do research drawings but something tells me the local facilities might frown on me walking in and staring at the females...

As for the sweat stylistically I can understand but realistically that's not far from how a proper workout should leave someone. Hell, I've seen worse in club goers.

For another I kiiiind of see what the others are talking about with the sweat and muscles. But I also, stylistically, understand both. Hell, Celia's abs aren't realistic or anything. Her muscles do look more like 'panels' in places, but I feel like it works for the most part, primarily the midsection. I'm generally ok with the sweat. It's a bit much, but I also kind of like wet girls, be it from sweat, water, oil, or *coughsalivacough* u 3u Viva the Glistening Goddesses

All in all, I like it o vob
