Concept art for a new character o 3o;

...Which I know I'm supposed to be avoiding, but Jess and I had some fun ideas for a pair of sisters ;_;

Hera and her older sister, Rhea, have a unique facet to their contracts. Though they each have their own partner and wish, their wishes/contracts are linked in a way which conjoins their power. Their DEs cycle through eclipsing phases like the moon's, leading to alternating situations in which one of their powers is the more potent, while the other's is weakened and forced to take on a more supporting role.

Yay, glad that's the vibe that she gives off. Her sister's definitely the more fanciful dresser - Hera's the more rebellious/tomboyish one of the two - but some stylistic elements rub off on Hera.

i.e. Hera's really long hair is a more sorta rebellious element of hers, but she still keeps it really well as opposed it being more wild-looking. And likewise with her top, I didn't want to design her with just a t-shirt or something - I was actually originally intending for her shirt to be the top layer with something else on below, but wound up going with just that after deciding it should be something relatively simple.

Following up on Cam's recent Crown pics.

Here's my design for Crown Arbiter, who'll be appearing sometime soonish. She's mysterious amongst the Crowns in that not even many of them know her!

Who can she be? Shhhhhh it's Nana, who's gonna make a contract with Mahicamon, the partner of Sasha/Divine Crown Wolf.

Crown Arbiter - the rank assigned to Nana by Sasha on her first field mission, before her promotion to Lion - will effectively serve as Nana's vigilante identity. Only instead of hunting criminals in Cyan City, she's going to be hunting them in the Digital World. Primarily doing stuff where there would be all sorts of potential yucky red tape involved if it was a Divine Crown doing it. Namely stuff like targeting ICARUS assets and other bad people who there might otherwise be a long boring process with before you can dispose of them >_>

So thanks to Graham and Mariah spamming the analyzer that I shall not name, I was inspired to do a picture of Sariel Mishima having an intimate romp with her man and provider of her powers and partner. Considering that I have never drawn Sariel having active sex but I've drawn Synne doing it at least five times, this was long overdue and I'm glad I could get some quality work done.

Though officially speaking the second Divine Crown Pegasus, amongst the Divine Crowns Godiva is the only remainder of Albert Pendragon's regime and thus the one with seniority only outranked by Divine Crown Empress and the new Emperor. Still, given her open nature and experience she is deferred to in most things concerning the future of the faction.

Her "Siegfried" combat suit, though it looks decorative, it armed with slightly more dense Digizoid folds, and in actuality is threaded with Blue Digizoid, giving Pegasus outstanding speed when called upon, as well as Gold Digizoid lacing to improve defense and LoE generation. Her main weapon is the transformable crossbow-sword "Brynhildr" and the "Medusa System" installed in her Pegasus Visor, giving her the ability to extend the duration of her "Freezing Gaze" DE.

She is the niece, though one may as well call her daughter, of Albert Pendragon, and day after day must live with the sins of her father figure and those he harms. Her wish right now is to find a new wielder of the Dragon mantle so the position may begin anew.

So since I drew sexy Riiko and badass Dagrus, I decided to offset both by drawing someone cute and maybe a little in over her head. Lydia is part of the medical corps, and as such her Witch Visor is equipped with a faster processing computer than most of the other Crown Visors for the sake of fast medical response.

The "Brigid System" in her gear affords her an extra lens that can slide down to grant her x-ray as well as super fast diagnosis, making her an excellent aide to the main doctor, Crown Spirit, or a capable nurse and even surgeon on the field. Being that she's a medic and not a full combatant, her "Siegfried" combat suit is made of harder Digizoid to improve chances of survival.

And here he is! I drew Dag in uniform a long time ago but didn't really dig the design... or the anatomy. Inspired by my Riiko pic, here is the redo. I decided to keep and expand the fur to really push the "berserk" setting.

The Berserk Visor is equipped with the Berserk System, a cybernetic method of controlling the Digital Hazard. However, it also risks driving Dagrus insane if used for too long. Various methods have been equipped to the suit to counter this possibility, including Selena's/Synne's song to play nonstop through the visor itself.

I did not mean to take so long with this one but I got sketch happy. ^^;;

But yeah, given that the girl is a Ranked Crown and would modify her uniform if even just a bit, here be Crown Saver. The scarf, a gift from Celia, is worn not only for her and Maurine, but as an homage to River.

The Save Visor since the Operation PHAETON Retrieval Arc has a built in DE Expander to allow the girl's DE to reach far distances and more targets at once. When active the dark slots on the visor slide out and glow pale emerald. I considered an antennae but decided against it as it clashed with the silhouette and an antennae seems like an easy target. >_>;;;

The goal with Yamikumamon's design was two fold. Retain femininity while also trying to clear the simian aspects of her last design. Yamikumamon started out as a very Renamon looking Digimon with not my best color coordination back in DDT. Her recent design was a step in the right direction to thicken her up, with this one meant to be more "story driven" like the redesign of Tenoderamon. I wanted to apply some Chinese design to her to mesh her more with her partner Captain Sonny Lin Kwan, which then helped with the story.

Yamikumamon are originally from File Island, the Digital World spacial equivalent to Japan. A war-like race of Beast Digimon, they over utilized their Digital Hazards to bring terror and destruction to the Digimon living there until the Royal Knights were sent in to deal with their behavior. Driven out of File Island, they migrated across the Net Ocean to the spacial equivalent of China, Directory Continent. Not learning a thing, they resumed their behavior only to run into the Digimon priestess Sanzomon. Sanzomon used her holy powers to place inhibiting rings upon the entire clan, and made it so every Yamikumamon born would have them on at birth. Now stripped of constant access to their Digital Hazards, the Yamikumamon had to learn to control their beast instincts. Only Yamikumamon that attain enlightenment will be able to access the full extent of their power... though of course, there are those that cheat and are doomed to being ruled by their Hazards...

Due to this curse, Yamikumamon's mating habits are manipulated. They will only feel the urge when their rings detect another Digimon that is considered enlightened, limiting their potential mates to those that will help them stay true to their meditation, or Yamikumamon that have gone the distance to become so.

We have plans for another China based form for her so I didn't want to go overboard. Same time I wanted a little more to spruce her up, yeah. I also wanted to show that despite being a Child level, Grace is mature... well... more mature than what I had her as, hence the one eye checking to see if someone is there.

And yeah, mission accomplished on making her much more of a bear. I really like this design, and the background to the Yamikumamon works well and helps explain the bond between Grace and Sonny--Grace, I think, was probably something of a problem child, but truly desired to pursue enlightenment rather than be ruled by her Hazard.

And here be Kuuhaku's Vice-Captain. Younger brother of the dearly departed former PISCES Captain and modified for the purpose of destroying Project PHAETON and any other wayward Daedalus monstrosity. Partnered to Genomon ABYSS and Marimon CUSTOM, Asher's training makes him a solid frontline combatant and effective in aquatic and zero gravity environments. His body is loaded with a complex nanite system that allows him to heal and strengthen himself and modify his DE.

If he wasn't such a stick in the mud he would see more regular missions, but at the moment there's still the nervous point that he might try to eliminate his own Captain...

Ooh, yes, I like this design. The scar is good and he has this sort of young soldier look to him, very military but not on a way that makes him less human.

Kind of what a young Solid Snake could've looked like if he shaved. >_>

I agree, I like the scar design. It's different than just a normal sort of "line left over".

The scar is actually Graham's doing. I was working off of the rough sketch he did of Asher back when he was doing constant sketch dumps. I changed it a little bit after looking up pictures of Neo Saiba from D-Tamer 01 and the main dude from Argento Soma. I wanted something a bit natural but clearly has some ties to circuits.

The hair I actually looked at Argento Soma's protagonist and Straight Cougar from Scryed. I wanted to bring out the fact it's due to damage and not YuGiOh! hair rules, which is that there are no rules.

Another thing to note is that thanks to conditioning by General Agito, which included repeat showings of what Alma/Shinri did at the Academy in friggin' HD, Asher has a disdain for D-Humans, especially the artificial variety, and frowns upon relations between Digimon and Human that go beyond "Tamer" and "Partner". The boy is 57 flavors of damaged.

1. Perspective is a bitch >_>; Aborted most of this pic, but was really liking how the face was coming out so clipped most of it away (Still came out pretty poor, but since it's a scrap to begin with, I was too lazy to go back and re-touch it)

2. I haven't drawn Glory yet. Decided I wanted to do something new with her hair for a variety of reasons. Here's the current possibility.

I actually really dig this, head shape issues aside. Kind of reminds me of Mikasa's hairdo in Attack on Titan.

Lovely work on the underwearm as per usual. I think if anything she needs some differentiation on her glasses. I mean she's Kasumi's maid. If she can afford the really lacy goods she can afford fancy glasses I should think.

I'm open to suggestions on the glasses ^^; Haven't put much thought into them other than wanting to differentiate from Junko's thicker, more rectangular frames and Sophia's green ones. So just went with rounder wire-frames for the time being.

(Also yeah, head shape was the big issue I noticed that would've needed fixing)

Take two on Fayiz's Crown Uniform design - specifically when "Victory Mode" is activated and his partner is attached as pauldrons/wing binders.

Instead of adding darker colors to the mix in any quantity, I think I solved the problem by replacing the standard cloth look of his uniform below with a ribbed bodysuit. This way it can still be black in most cases and become white in Victory Mode (while also looking good both ways and not Quincy-ish or anything).

I'll have to get around to a more full-body shot and also include an improved visor design, but I at least like how things are going o 3o

The pauldrons may need to be further towards his neck, because unless something is gorilla gluing them down those are gonna shake up more than the shoulder armor on Den-O Climax Form and smack him in the face. Maybe shorten them up some?

Yes, I just posted Kuuhaku cheesecake. But, you see, I had sketched that a bit before Graham's birthday rolled around and his foremost request category was something Star Wars related, such as Kuuhaku dressed as an Imperial Officer or Twi'lek dancer >_> Wonder which one I chose.

I realize that I maybe should have asked if there was a preferred Twi'lek skin tone, but figured Kuuhaku definitely had blue bodypaint available from her Princess Ruto costume from Futurecon >_> Instead of whatever their head-tendrils are called I opted to draw her hair in backward-facing pigtails to replicate them while helping to represent her identity as Kuuhaku.

Belated birthday-ish pic for Jess. May be another one of sorts coming (along with even more belated birthday pics for Graham >_>; )

Inspired by the recent Zelda Wii U reveal featuring a slightly more effeminate take on Link, coupled with some initial vague trolling by the game's director.

Because of the sorta magitech-y vibe of the arrow Link uses in the teaser, Sourei has opted to borrow her Vice-Captain's weapon and is seen here with Adelaide's "Heroine's Bow" bowgun.

Unfortunately, I think her face/hair came out a bit better on my first, scrapped take. That one passed the "Does she look like Loki in drag?" (meant as a compliment for her XD) test with better flying colors.

*I am not tackling the question of "Can Princess Zelda be a boy?" and instead leaving that matter up entirely to Sourei (Apologies to Balin >_> )

Random Kuuhaku sketch that I've been sitting on for a little and got around to coloring. We can say that Virgil was inspired by the strawberry-ish Courage Digimental variation of Kuuhaku's ATHENA from "Just Live More!". His personal take on it just features considerably less armor. But some new accessories to make up for it <_<

Probably most informative is the top-right, a glimpse of the Zebes Edge boomerang-sword. Left side is the javelin I'm reminded I've yet to name. Bottom right is his Bandit Sword, which has been drawn in an earlier pic and appears again here as proof that I apparently can't draw straight lines.

When I started coloring it I was all "....this isn't at all straight ;_; " and was way too lazy to fix it since each part of the sword wound up at a different angle >_> I do admit that I was pretty sloppy with the Bandit Sword since there was already a pretty good look at it in that Kai/Millia pic <_<;
