So yeah, here's a drawing that should have come out awhile ago. Here is Genotechmon when the armor is removed.

I did the base line work on this. Mariah did the final line work and I did the colors. TEAMWORK!

Ooooohhhh. o 3o Hmm...I would've kept a little bit more from the Genomon's base's head-fronds, those were really charming, or just made them wrap around the head less...this is a little more human-esque than I thought he'd be.

So yeah. >_> I decided I wanted to make another Chimeratech Progenitor--one of the "honored guests" of Project HERAKLES who get to contribute, like Regulus and Kella, to endless ranks of faceless clone soldiers. And hey, it turns out Kurokawa is about the only person without a Vice-Captain!

Say hello to the former DELTA//PRIME, one Epoch Cyrene. He had another name, but he's sort of discarded it--it doesn't matter much to him.

Unlike his gleefully vicious jester of a Captain, Epoch's a bit of a quiet fellow, with a dry sense of humor and an emphasis on professionalism--sort of the straight man to Kurokawa's evil comedian.

Love the tie in to Regulus with the armor, and the expression is nice. Scales I think you could have kept going with and you need to watch the ears as those are way too small for that head. Be careful with headgear, as that hat is just a size too small, though I know they can be difficult.

Well, for years now, I have lacked a vigilante of my own (Dark Pearl Zwei doesn't count because she's totally evil kthx >_> ) That, however, is about to change o 3o

Meet "Masquerade", who will be making her first appearance sometime soon.

As you can probably see, she has a butterfly motif. Masquerade fights with a sword, but the butterflies that dance around her are not just for show, and act to both defend her and attack her enemies. Could they be her DE?

Overall the design is quite nice and I really dig the mask. On the other hand, where is her other arm? Also having a bit of a time telling how this outfit works on her. Try to fit in some fabric stitch lines next time.

All things considered, if not stitch lines, I prolly shoulda atleast tried a more heavily detailed approach to shading her outfit ^^; Because I'll give you some of the outfit confusion... and her left arm is actually probably part of that. She's standing with her right arm and leg forward and left arm and leg back, but her left shoulder's probably getting mistaken as part of her chest x 3x

Admittedly, I don't think I nailed all of the anatomy, but I've tried to sketch Masquerade a few times now, and this came out far, far better than my earlier attempts, so I was determined to run with it >_>;;

her paleness is my fault for not having better references up. I'm still working on the whole "constant character design" thing for the twins. Sariel is a matter of I tend to just grab whatever lighter skin tone it is I find that day and slap it on. I'll probably sit down and make a proper character ref page for her cause she's supposed to be pale for a hispanic girl, not pale in general.

That said. Fantastic job honey, was really fun doing this art trade with ya with signatures for avatars.

And my quest to fix my earlier designs continues with an attempt to better Digimon up Maneshimon, Robyn's partner. After all this time I FINALLY asked Jess what "Maneshi" even meant... and after finding out it meant "copycat" the design came together a little easier. The goal was to make Aphrodite here look less like Yoruichi in a catgirl outfit and more like a Digimon without warping things too much like say...Bastemon. Thoughts?

Has it been that long since you've drawn her? It feels like it hasn't, but I'm probably just thinking of a Vampimon pic. And then again, it's been forever since a lot of chars have been drawn, I'm sure ^^;; Just what happens when we have so many characters/Digimon I guess. Mostly new characters/forms getting drawn and only a handful that usually get regular pics.

I like some of the little additions you made, like to the tie, and the change to a more feminine face/head structure. And you can really see how much livelier our coloring is nowadays.

...Well, I guess these usually aren't done when battle-worn, but whatever >_> The design of her non-partially shredded combat uniform resembles a kunoichi, as to not hinder her movement, especially her arms.

Character art for Arina Otafiire, younger sister of Aleksandr, and new 3rd Seat of the THESEUS-XIII's first division ARIES. Aleksandr and her were originally intended for AQUARIUS, but given certain events instigated by one Albert Pendragon and the defection of a certain someone who was to become Kolenkhov's Vice-Captain, they're instead being assigned to ARIES.

Shown here with her Digital Enhancement active, you can see that Arina is literally well-armed >_> Because her forearms can turn into blades with the strength of chrome digizoid. Of the two siblings, Arina is more lethal in close combat, but isn't capable of as much destrution as her brother.

Black armored arm and ice crown are from her Despair digimental that she shoved into her left hand. Now when she activates Reliability, her Despair also activates.

Concept night continues!

Here's a pair of doodles of Iris's forthcoming Digimental Coat. On the left is the jacket itself in its base form, that Iris will start wearing around, especially on missions/etc. On the right is the coat when active using a Courage Digimental, which'll be one of the two primary Digimentals she uses.

Jacket doodle is a few weeks old, I wasn't really satisfied with either of the two active concepts I did at the time. Courage is a mostly new take on the design (and yes, the shoulder is terribad).

For anyone curious, Ferocity is the other primary digimental. Still not quite satisfied with its general design yet. Also trying to more or less adhere to a standardized scheme for each - the Digimental's associated color plus silver and black.

Well, in regards to the "spiky" design. Fangs 'n junk >_> According to Sentai, fangs/diamonds are the universal design element for anything dinosaur-based.

In terms to Courage specifically, some of the armor design was inspired in part by a pic I had come across - It admittedly beckoned something that might be more fitting of, say, Heroism, considering a bit of a knightly tilt. But I was really inspired and figured Courage fit just as well for several reasons. So I wound up taking a few of the inspiring aspects and combined them with some of the designs I had doodled for her a few weeks ago and, presto o 3o;

A few weeks ago I had also originally inverted her hair color - colored her bang-tuft black and the rest of the hair after the Digimental. But definitely glad I switched it to just recoloring her tuft + adding in highlights.

Digging the jacket, though the armor... looks a touch uncomfortable. Hot, but uncomfortable. You will want to raise the fangs up more cuz at that angle we're seeing nipples.

Mkay, yeah. Didn't really think about sizing those up here ^^;

The only real potentially uncomfortable area would probably be the chest >_> But considering the origins of the jacket idea (also totally your own doing <_< ), I felt it inevitable that there'd be something like that going on in one of the Digimental Forms XD

As far as the other "spikes" go - I should clarify, since it's not clear without any shading - all of the red underlayers are not hardened armor o 3o; They're just stylized stockings/gloves. The black, for that matter, is also something more in between, something like thick spandex.
