Ugh. Skipping it.

The only reason why I put up with "Dark of the Moon" was that a friend wanted to see it.

How do you top a movie where
| +
from what I understand, Optimus Prime shot his mentor in the back, then in the face, after said mentor had surrendered?
How do you top that kind of heroics?

For that matter, how do you top the trailer to Dark of the Moon? I saw that trailer and I instantly went "this is going to be the worst movie. Ever. I can't wait to see it." Then I didn't see it because I didn't have money at the time to go see bad movies ironically. :oops: BUT STILL. DAT TRAILER. You had the new female lead and her ZERO LINES IN THE ENTIRE GODDAMN TRAILER but still HUGE CAMERA FOCUS ON HER GIANT LIPS. You had Shia LeBouf failing to look awesome at all. You had the return of "everything awesome in human achievements was Transformers" from 1, but with the weird political shit from 2. You had Tyrese Gibson saying "It's over. I'm sorry, but it's over!" for no reason. It was a masterpiece of trailermaking. How do you top that? Ever?

Lol. Prime did take a rather goddamn merciless streak at the end of the movie. But it was only one of 2482644 other problems.

Who knows what the hell Bay will do now. Me and a friend had been trying to keep hope by thinking somebody new would come in, save, and potentially even fix things (like starting a Unicron trilogy or something and reviving the major Decepticons). But ugh. Oh well.

And here I was hoping for a reboot done by someone who GIVES A DAMN about the mythos. An-actual- story about y'know... the giant robots from space and not *shudder* a "boy and his car" (as bay put it)... and actual Good designs for the bots.

Also could've meant better toys, or at least let them focus on the Generations line instead of wave after wave of bayformer shelfwarmers.

Just... ugh. We can only wait and see... and pray ;~;

x_x Erik, you could spark a cross-the-nation prayer-athon, and it still wouldn't be enough to save us from the same crap as the last two movies ^^;;;

...Unless said prayer involved misfortune to Michael Bay, I guess >__>;
