http://serebii.net/index2.shtml and
http://pokebeach.com/2010/05/black-white-starter-pokemon-revealedSeems the trainers are older and the region(Isshu) is REALLY far away.
Look at what a smug little bastard the grass starter is, he knows he's awesome. ^__^

x_X It's like they're -TRYING- to make the starters more hideous each installment.
The grass starter does look cool, though. And there's an outside chance Firepig's evolutions will be decent. Just keep whatever the hell that water thing is away from me >_>
I do like the trainer designs, though. And the fact that they're older.

huh, very interesting. I called the silhouettes though XD
yeah, the water-type's a little wonky looking. grass looks cool, but Firepig has the best design for the starter's first level.
I can't wait for more info ^^; thanks!!

It appears that Game Freak wants to distance BW from the previous generations with Isshu's distance from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. (Which makes me wonder where the region is located relative to the others becuse they were inspired by Japanese geography).
Even more curious is the decision to make the protagonists older, but probably more practical. Who in their right mind would let ten-year-olds run across the countryside unsupervised? Where's child services in the Pokemon world? And where's Norm MacDonald when you need him?

http://pokebeach.com/2010/05/remaining-corocoro-pages-leaked-tsutaaja-pokabu-and-mijumaru-validatedRest of the corocoro scans out.
Hiun City, Isshu's central city, gets a double page piece of art that contains a suspiciously familiar looking bridge. Could Isshu possibly be based off the US?
If so, what does it say about gamefreak's opinion of America considering "Hiun" can mean "bad luck" or "misfortune". XD

It would be interesting if they used the NYC area as the basis for Isshu. Hinu City could be Manhattan and yadda, yadda, yadda. Make me wonder what New Jersey would look like.

Your theories worry me. D:
The water one is an otter, by the way. Check out Gelbooru and you can see the jokes about it.
You can also see the hentai and ecchi. Yes. 24 hours from the original release of this information, there was hentai of the girl trainer.
.... dammit Japan.

Yeah, after seeing a rash of fanart within hours of the official art, I -knew- there'd be porn within another day or so XD
Such is just... Japan.

And now they've released the legendaries for the games. Head to the official Pokemon site to see them.
Yes, the official US Pokemon site. I guess now that they have something to show that they don't have to name change it can be all official.
The white dragon with the wing wang is called Reshiram and the black dragon with the GN Drive for a tail is called Zekrom.
At this point, I am leaning very much towards getting the Black Version. Also, place your bets on how long til the porn shows up. This includes humanized personae and/or furry art. Place your bets!

T-too late...the horror... *shakes and rocks back and forth* @__@
I'm not gonna link anything (4chan is teh evil), but damn. It took a full day for the female trainer to appear, but these two got it in less than 2 hours.

XD Gelbooru, dude. I'm surprised you haven't seen yet. As you know, there was art of the female main character hours after the scan linked, but then the porn started like a day later. Oh, or are you talking about just the mascots?
I'm probably in for White, since I think my friend that I battle the most with is gonna end up Black.
...Was gonna say, even though Black's legendary looks a bit cooler, but then I saw that the black-colored one is White''s legendary XD

/v/ thread was deleted so no can do on links. Said it was from pixiv though, not that I can navigate that worth shit.
One I saw was Reshiram, though. That tuft of fur/feathers/whatever on him really got people's imaginations going. >__>
And yes, Zekrom is for White and Reshiram is for Black versions. I guess it will make the box art prettier.
