Digimon: Dial Up!

Almost pushing the corny side, but I'm digging the costumes. They seem kinda Shinkenger-y in design principles. And I'm happy that we're getting two girls again. >_> And that Goseiger's ending.

I too can see the Shinkenger vibe, and that's a good sign already. Anything about them using a card system? I rather not get my hopes up as I did with Goseiger (angels..and cards?! The fuck!?)

Also, what's this team called?

No cards, "Ranger Keys", which seem to be tiny action figures that they put into the phones that allow them to transform into past warriors. It's sounding like there's a pirate ship that belongs to Red and it combines with other vehicles to form the robo; and the current rumor is attachment parts based on past mecha.

... Not sure how well that'd go over. really it sounds more gimmicky than card-based heroes and battling... and so far, Goseiger's the only one who's done it Wrong if you ask me.

Seriously "super sentai" doesn't look as silly as "power rangers" even tho PR gets its footage from super sentai *shrug*

Is it me or did goseiger not really have good foreshadowing of the new villian groups once the old one was defeated?

As for the figures, I think it'll depend on how they get them and use them.

I couldn't watch Goseiger past episode 6

and I enjoyed Go-Onger, the only reason I didn't finish that series was cause of HD crashes.

I've watched MagiRanger, Boukenger, GekiRanger, Go-Onger and Shinkenger. I could not stand Goseiger x_x
