Right, So Life Hates Me.

Because we usually posted something about "BBS" or "Sorry it's been a while", I noticed there were quite a lot. Tossing them all in here so as to decide if we wanna just keep them for posterity or wipe them from the DB. >>

I think this will also include computer explosions because that's a personal thing that also happens to lead to absences and delays. > 3>

Right, So Life Hates Me.

And proof of this fact is that I will be leaving my job at the end of this month. I'm happy for my current boss on her promotion, but the manager we will be getting to replace her... I can't stand her, I don't trust her, and she has not proven herself to me in the 5 times she's come in to relieve me in the mornings.

So fuck that noise. I work out what's already scheduled and stop having a job where all the crazy fuckers come to find me.

Apparently, the Robbery last month wasn't enough, I also had to get a crazy man who broke some guy's windshield in the other day that I shouldn't have even BEEN ON THE CLOCK FOR... had the "manager-in-training" let us go when we were supposed to go.

Right, well crazy fuckers aside, I am also having a really hard time with this whole sleeping on the couch business.

In the last two weeks, I've woken up with a stiff neck, hurt shoulders, painful hips and can barely stand up straight from what feels like someone sleeping on and twisting my tail. If I had one. But I'm sure the feeling in my tailbone is similar to that.

Yet when in pain, what to most of us do?

Sleep.

Where do I sleep? On a couch.

What's causing my pain?

The couch I sleep on.

Ain't redundant cycles fun, kids?

ANYWAY, moving onto my NEXT fun life aspect...

Vista would rather kug itself in a corner and continually upgrade itself over an over with "important updates" and restart itself randomly after that than let me use it effectively.

Saito, on the other hand, I think is dying.

Recent severe Sound Issues have caused me to keep having to restart him and sometimes Cold Reboot because he got frozen in a program. It's not even "just WoW", which was when I noticed trying to murder assholes in Icecrown for Argent Tournament Dailies because I was on a Homicidal Spree... I couldn't even run around in the game while on Vent or Skype and not have issues, but now, I have to constantly restart the game and I gave up for now doing anything intelligent in the game. Started with that and now places I never had lag or sound issues before now cause the game to freeze up if not completely crash... and if it's a harder lag spike, the entire system locks up. Which is fun. God, Dalaran, I missed when you only lagged a little because 50 people were parading around the city, in a circle, on their Mammoth Mounts.

Saito, I just got you more memory for my birthday. >< Stop acting like this. :<

/sigh

Anyway...

So then I moved onto playing Pogo while somewhat conscious. (http://www.pogo.com Nice place.) But even those games don't wanna load right and are becoming more hassle to get the Flash Application started to play than it's kinda worth.

Random disconnects from the internet...

Random crashes.

I HAVE A FUCKNG MACINTOSH. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, SAITO!? *kicks the laptop*

The sick part is two other people are having similar issues on their PCs. Wait, three.

Still.

I'd get it if it was on my PC. Could be an issue that way, but I RUN EVERYTHING ON THE MAC. So I am horribly confused.

So yeah.

Oh and what's more fun is... I can't even watch a movie or these borrowed DVDs of a TV Series because the sound and video have dramatic seizures and scream at me.

AppleCare, eh? ....That requires paying for something extra just in case something goes wrong with the precious Macintosh, don't it. Yeah. Yeah, you don't know my family as well as you thought you did, do ya.

No. The only reason the one issue got fixed a while back was:
1.) I was still in school and still REQUIRED the Laptop for classes.
2.) It was still under the One-Year-Warranty and the Apple Store in fucking TOWSON, MARYLAND (nice drive since there wasn't any around here at the time) was a fun trip and I despise the Genius Bar.

It should only be called that if the word "Genius" is being sarcastic.

"Durr, did you try to power it on this way?"
"Did you unplug it and plug it in and try it both ways?"
"Did you hold all the buttons down and hop on one foot while singing Great Balls of Fire backwards on a Tuesday Night at 10:37 to power it on?"

T_T; Yes, well.

That's enough outta the smartasses in the Peanut Gallery of my brain.

I'm sorry I haven't been around. I haven't been able to be on long enough to make it worth it. -_-; I've been in contact with Graham primarily through Text Messaging, which is also annoying because I barely get a signal down here and God Forbid someone try and call me. I'd be lucky to get the call let alone hold onto it.

Oh and minutes are fun to try and keep on it when I need to text someone 10 text messages to explain something...

So let's all hope I can figure out my technical problems before I explode the child with a leftover bushel of fireworks and plastic explosives. ><;

So just to clarify one point. No. I'm not ignoring you. Life is against me right now.

;_; *Patpat*

FYI, on the Vista thing, you can stop it via the Windows Update panel, there's a "Change Settings" option on its sidebar. You can set it so it doesn't even download stuff without your permission, but the easier of the options is probably just to let it download updates but not to install anything with your permission - That effectively makes it XP-style, so whenever you go to turn off your computer it'll give you the "Install Updates and then Shut Down your Computer" option x_X It took me awhile to figure out I could do this.

*knocking on wood already* Why the FUCK is it that you and Graham keep getting cursed macs?! X_X;; Mine gave out after five years of having to swallow my homework and free work. You guys seem to be cursed by voodoo!

As for the job situation, I know jobs these days can be hard to come by... but yeah, time to vacate that position. No job with such weird fuckers could be worth the paycheck. I'm sure you can find something safer.
