Man, 46. That...that episode. This whole show. I don't think there's no room for criticism here--I've seen some valid points about Mai losing much of her agency through basically no fault of her own, but part of that is falling into the Homutrap anyway to a degree, by being Woman of the Beginning and all; I also think we could've had Lord Baron a bit earlier, or a true Overlord form for Kouta, one with no belt--BUT. That being said. That was a true Urobuchi ending and like other Urobuchi endings, it was fantastic.

This whole series has been such an awesome rollercoaster, and I will forever appreciate karate bugmen because of it. Thank you, Gaim.

Zangetsu's cast, in addition obviously to Takatora, includes Micchy (circa his gradual descent into backstabbing madness 8DDD), and our favorite crew of Yggdrasil bros - Ryoma, Yoko, and Sid. And then an appearance by Kouta.

Baron features Mai, Zack, Peco, Joey, Ryoma, Yoko, Pierre, and again also Kouta. If it's anything like the W V-Cinemas, Kouta will just have a cameo role somewhere where he transforms and gets into a brief fight.
