When the Tamers use their [[D-Arc]]s to evolve their Digimon to the Adult level, DigiLetters are displayed which reads: {{DigiAlph|e|bo|ryu|-|shi|o|n}} — "Evolution"  (エボリューション ''Ebory{{uu}}shion''), but this is written in fragments - {{DigiAlph|e|bo|ryu|-|shi}} followed by {{DigiAlph|-|shi|o|n}} shown vertically to the left of the screen, hence they would translate as "Evoluti—" and "—tion" respectively. Also, during that moment, they are surrounded by a "cocoon" of DigiLetters which repeatedly displays a random sequence of letters ({{DigiAlph|a|ji|ke|ru|i|bu|ge|n|ri|no|fu}}), reminiscent of movies with a cyberspace theme, in which random characters appear everywhere as well as flowing with the digital theme of Digimon Tamers.

In [[Digimon Tamers - Episode 33|episode 33]], Shaochung enters the Digital World and appears at the "Great Southern Gate" directly above an engraving in the ground which reads: {{DigiAlph|su|-|tse|-|mon}} — "[[Zhuqiaomon]]" (スーツェーモン ''Sūtsēmon''). Other occasions where DigiLetters appear throughout the series include a flashback of [[Kurata Akihiro|Kurata]] finding [[Belphemon]]'s DigiTama inside a chest sealed by a sheet written DigiLetters, which lay hidden within ancient ruins in the Digital World. These DigiLetters read:

The Seven Great Demon Lords' code keys also include DigiLetters, the name of the member is written at the top, directly above their respective crest. It also appears during evolution, however this is merely random sequencing of letters, for example "dfslkfghh" ({{DigiAlph2|d|f|s|l|k|f|g|h|h}}). Lalamon's Special Move "{{ATO|Sing-a-Song}}" displays characters which include "sa", "ya", "su", "gi", "ra", "ri", "go", "ku", and "mu".
