It’s what makes you ask “what’s the point of going on?”--not just for yourself, but for everyone around you. Despair users gain a dark violet streak in their hair, and they are provided with some way to cut themselves off from the world; their Digimon forms are based around a mask, which hides their features and emotions, and become sorrowful shells of their former self.

This Digimental is all about taking power beyond any reasonable zenith--the ability to cut down anyone in one’s way and be unsatisfied. Violence users are always looking for a good fight, the bloodier the better, and have absolutely no qualms about collateral damage. Unlike War or Wrath, users of Violence are chillingly lucid and totally in control, treating horrific acts and violent trauma with utter casualness and a slasher smile on their face. Violence users gain the ability to produce any variety of weapon, and a regenerative ability that deadens their pain and lets them keep fighting; their Digimon forms are usually focused around a certain weapon or certain act of violence.

Denial users become entranced, and are continually levitating as if unaffected by gravity, sometimes gaining the ability to phase through objects as if intangible; they also project a hallucinatory field that lets them share their delusions with others. Their Digimon forms are based around abstractions and hallucinatory objects.

The user is obsessive-compulsive, with a mind-boggling array of random facts at their command and the desire to research every little detail down to the nines if they don’t know it already. They are also driven to collect things, and when they collect them, they arrange them perfectly. If they have something or someone they’re already obsessed with, this amps that up to eleven--they cannot sleep, cannot think about anything else, practically cannot act without obtaining the object of their desire. Obsession users gain almost encyclopedic knowledge of a given field of information and/or an intrinsic sense of where the object they desire most is at all times; their Digimon forms are usually based on ancient treasures, particularly crowns or rare gems.

They are mined as highly revered objects for weapons and armor, sought by Digimon that want to learn from the past, or villains that want to use the past to take the present.  Golden Digimentals are extremely rare and some would say can't even be mined naturally due to a decree set by the Royal Knight Magnamon. There are the best of the best, granting Ultimate level Digimon only of great holy power. It has been shown a Golden Digimental can be created by merging several Digimentals together, but the process is hard to come by and burns out most of the Digimentals used to do so. Golden Digimentals are the most compatible with users, allowing full free will. Thus far, they carry a three to five post power limit.
