One is a small barrier to protect him or her from strong attacks. The barrier isn't all powerful and can shatter with enough force or action. The other is called the Digital Enhancement, or simply DE. The DE is an upgrade to the human to allow him/herself defense against other humans and Digimon. An enhancement is never really flashy, with only tell tale signs when it becomes active. This is because secrecy is important, and big flashy displays of power attract unwanted attention. Enhancements include small elemental manipulation, bodily enhancement, mental enhancement, stuff like that.<br/><br/>Acceptable ideas are higher body strength, telekinesis, telepathy, short range teleportation, super speed, small healing, sudden skill in weaponry, and transforming. Unacceptable ideas include lasers, transformation that also copies powers, big shows of energy, anything Dragonball Z-esque, Gurren-Lagann-ish, or simply over the bloody top. Remember, subtlety is the key here, being a Tamer and having a Digimon is supposed to be a SECRET.<br/><br/>Though subtlety is still key, some flashiness can be afforded with higher levels. Remember, subtlety is the key here, being a Tamer and having a Digimon is supposed to be a SECRET.<br/><br/>Finally, an enhancement can be further empowered through special E-Signals from the DJ. He will text a character when he deems them ready for that step. Though subtlety is still key, some flashiness can be afforded with higher levels.
New page

==Words and Terms to Know==
;Tamer
:A Human partnered with a Digimon, contracted together through the granting of a wish.

;Digimon
:Digital Monster, a creature made of network data and electrical pulses, they are still living breathing creatures. They become solid by granting the wish of a human. Digimon granted a solid wish still at times need to consume electricity and electronics such as mp3 players, computer components, and batteries.

;D-Phone
:The Digivice for DIAL UP. It is based on the "Katana" cellphone. The D-Phone uses various button combinations to perform actions. Though you don't have to memorize or constantly put down button codes, the D-Phone's functions are as follows.

;Summon Digimon
:This substantiates the Digimon partner if stored within the D-Phone, or allows them to shed their Live Disguise. Uses a 4-digit code. In emergencies, the Digimon can break their own Live Disguise, though it takes effort.

;Call Digimon
:If the Digimon is far from the Tamer, this will call the Digimon to his/her partner. This is a one key manuever.

;Digivolve
:Digivolve the Digimon. The D-Phone will announce "Dialing Evolution, Dialing Perfect Evolution, or Dialing Ultimate Evolution" pending on what the Tamer wishes. To Digivolve you must have gotten the signal for it ahead of time. Push the evolution key, then enter whatever the code is.

;Switch Evolution Path
:This will switch between the A,B, and C Digivolution paths. Just press the evolution key to switch. All evolutions use the same code for each level.

;Final Charge
:The Digimon's most powerful attack, capable of defeating even Digimon higher in level given the chance. Though it can be used several times per thread, it's power drops with each use. One button, press the Charge Up key twice.<br/><br/>Depending on the user, the Final Charge can be activated in any way by the user. Though the double press is a valid motion, a true Tamer's Final Charge will be unique to them. Knowledge of the wish is what truly powers the Final Charge to greatness.

;Charge Up
:Empowers a Digimon's attack if held for the next post. The Digimon must rely on other techniques while the chosen attack charges up. Charge Up can be used with only one use of "Final Charge". One button activation.

;Signal Up
:Allows the use of a copied Signal, data obtained from battles and jobs to help a Digimon in battle. Signals can only be used once per thread.

;Digital Gate Open/Close
:Opens up Digital Gates to go to the Digital World, and closes them after use so no one can follow with that route. Digital Gates can only be opened before network devices, which luckily is most electronics. Voice operated.

;Evolution and E-Signals
:When a Digimon gains the ability to Digivolve, they can only maintain the evolution for five posts before devolving. To extend this shortcoming, a Tamer must acquire E-Signals, which extend the evolution time by another five posts. After three Signals, the fourth fully unlocks that Evolution, allowing it to be used without any time limit. The only way to gain E-Signals is to wait for The DJ to send them, either through an evolution thread (this will be clearly marked) or as payment in a mission.<br/><br/>Furthermore, a Digimon has three evolutionary paths they can take. At first the only option is Path A, but the D-Phone can be updated to allow the other two paths. They can only be gained in missions from The DJ.

;Signals
:When a Digimon is deleted, they turn into Digitama, and will be returned to the Digital World to the Primary Village. When this happens, a stream of code called a Signal will form around the egg. At this time, a Tamer can take that Signal into the D-Phone. However, if this is done, the Digitama of the fallen opponent is permanently deleted. Signals can upgrade a Digimon's abilities, adding attacks, space for attacks, and other things, so your character must decide what's more important, a potential life or power.

;Wishes
:When a human tells a wish to a Digimon, the Digimon will grant it only if they are allowed to link themselves to the human. This allows them to exist in the Real World. A wish must have power behind it, and must be something important. If a wish is considered weak, empty, or pointless, the Digimon will emerge and MAYBE grant it, but most likely they will be furious as the wish binds them to the Real World without an anchor point, making their existence unstable. This is how wild Digimon appearances happen. A Digimon summoned in this manner will eventually lose contact with the Real World and vanish, returning to the Digital World, but this can take time the civilians cannot afford.<br/><br/>When a wish IS valid, the Digimon appears with a D-Phone, and it then tied to that Digivice and the human user. A Digimon can be deleted many times and can always come back, their Signal protected if the human is still alive. if the human partner is killed, the Digimon will cease to exist. Because of this, the life of the Tamer is of highest priority to a Digimon, and it will boldly disobey orders and even abandon a battlefield to preserve that life.

;Digital Enhancement
:When a contract is successfully made with a Digimon, it will give a Tamer two things. DE's have three levels: Initial, Advance, and Unrestricted.

==People/Organizations to Know==
;The DJ
:A tall man with dark brown bordering on black colored hair with streaks of golden brown running through it. Despite whatever time of day it is or the current weather he is always wearing a pair of shades, and his style of dress varies from bum to mafia goon. He also wears a set of headphones around his neck, and carries a white D-Phone. His partner is Paladinmon.<br/><br/>The DJ is a strange man indeed, speaking in riddles, and is usually very laid back. He also has a tendency to appear anywhere and can vanish just as easily as he arrives. Don't expect many straight answers from him, but if he makes promises, he keeps them. What is known is that he knows far more than he seems, he created the D-Phones, and he created the wish granting system that keeps the Digimon from running a full blown invasion on the Real World.

;Fleur de Croix
:The current CEO of Circuits Infinity, she is well aware of the Digimon incidents and seems to not be surprised by them. She owns her own D-Phone, but never seems to use it. She holds a general distrust of Digimon not under her sway, and to make sure none try and interfere in her plans she keeps a personal group of Tamers called Crowns, all wielding her modified D-Phones called Crown D-Phones. Above the regular Crowns are her four kings, the Divine Crowns who wield the code names Dragon, Pegasus, Wolf, and Lion.

;The Royal Knights
:The other faction, they show great distrust towards humans and are hard on Digimon who choose to stay with them. Not believing in Tamer-Digimon partnerships, they come into the Real World using items called Royal D-Phones, which possess a human and makes them act to the will of the Royal Knight. They will do anything to bypass the wish granting protocol that acts as a barrier from an all-out invasion. Current known members are Alphamon, Omegamon, Alforce Veedramon, Magnamon, RhodoKnightmon, Dynasmon, Dukemon, Craniummon, Examon, Duftmon, and Sleipmon.

;The Daedalus Initiative
:A mysterious organization with the symbol of a gear with outstretched wings, lead by the Assistant Director of Mirai's Intelligence Bureau, Nagisa Gendou. They employ advanced technology, strange men in black suits, and elite Tamers in pursuit of mysterious agendas, involving what seems to be both human control of the Digital World and the biological advancement of both species. They seem to have backing from various world governments, much as the Crowns are backed by Circuits Infinity. Their Tamers are split into thirteen Combat Divisions, named after the zodiac.
