The Digimon who reside in the City of Zeal zealously pursue their magical research, having created various specialized forms of magical working that have become almost a necessity to any magical Digimon in Witchelny or beyond.

These small-statured Fae Digimon, who are native to this legendary island in the sky, are known throughout the magical realm of Witchelny for being excellent guardians or keepers, even for the most dangerous magical phenomenons. Being born of magic, they exhibit high adaptability, as well as a proficiency in all five [[Colors of Magic]]. They possess a great natural curiosity, and seem to have a knack for organizational spells and enchantments, likely due to their time spent within the Kajar Library of Zeal in their Baby-II Stage. Because of these traits, Iancusmon are often found in the employ of various mage-types to maintain order and structure.
