Overview
Begun as a combination peaceful resistance movement and union of Clockwork Savannah Digimon under the leadership of Gun Fangear, a HiAndromon community leader in Clockwork, it has expanded to be the largest and best known active guerrilla rebellion against the despotic rule of the the Royal Knights in the entirety of the Digital World. It seeks to either restore the status quo enjoyed by Digimon under the active rule of Yggdrasil.
The Gear Dan operate out of Scrap Town, a small-scale settlement situated in the middle of a huge junkyard in Steelion Factory where it borders the Kernel Institute. This provides them not only a convenient hiding place from the Knights' forces, but an endless supply of raw materials for Peter's various technological experiments and a safe environment for when his spark of genius inevitably causes some sort of chemically fueled explosion or another.
