Leafmon is a newborn Digimon with a leaf on its tail. Its blue coloration comes from its Virus Attribute.
Etymology
English: Leaf.
Background
Unlike its Vaccine or Data cousins, the Virus-Attributed Leafmon prefers to use the shade to grow or recover its energy. Its leaf-shaped tail can still protect it from intense sunlight or when it is raining, but prefers hiding in the trees or in caves where it is darker and safer. Due to this preference, one can find the Virus Leafmon in Nightwhisper Caverns as well as parts of Native Forest and Ether Jungle.
