The Digital World is a mirror world to our own, Analog World; also called the "Real World". It was formed from our data and memories long-forgotten and tossed aside. Coalescing together to form a cohesive world, it's still expanding due to our heavy reliance on technology. The landscape is vast and impossible to see all of it in one day, let alone a week.

Being the Digital World, it isn't just a mirror of the Mirai Archipelago, but our world entirely. The section of the Digital World that mirrors the Mirai Archipelago is called the Media Archipelago, with Terminal City; sometimes referred to as the "Terminal City Complex"; as the Digital World's counterpart to Cyan City. As the capitol of Media Island, it is a fairly large and bustling central city for Digimon as well as the common "Landing Zone" for those who come from the Real World without a set destination; hence it's appropriate name. It is also the central hub for the Trailmon Transit Line.

The Island and the other pieces of the Archipelago house several different ecosystems separated into manageable zones, each with a Digimon leading it referred to as a Zone Master.

Beyond the Media Archipelago, more adventures await! From the idyllic location of the File Islands, to the rolling plains of Server, to the rocky no-man's-land of Motherboard, the expanse of the Digital World offers limitless possibilities...

Processor Continent

The Digital World's parallel of the Asian countries, this Continent encompasses the File Islands, Media Archipelago, and the mainland smaller areas that mirror the Analog "Asia".

File Islands

The smaller semi-archipelago of near-tropical islands that parallel Japan's location in the Digital World. It's currently under the strict control of the Daedalus Initiative, and is the location of the Watatsumi, the most recently constructed of the Initiative's Mobile Citadel.

Media Archipelago

Terminal City and Media Island

Notable Locations in and around the City/Complex: Digitamamon's Diner, Kernel Institute, Shai-Hulud, Little Edo, Byte Village, Megabyte Village, Kilobyte, Waterfall Terminal, Spring Domain, Lost Babylon

Digitamamon's Diner

A diner and source of information within Terminal. If there's anything of note is going on, Digitamamon knows and is an utter blabbermouth.

The Shai-Hulud

The mobile base of the Daedalus Initiative. It constantly travels under cloaking technology to evade opponents such as the Royal Knights.

Little Edo

Samurai, Ninja, and Ancient Japanese Culture coalesce into a functioning old-world location called "Little Edo". Located a short Trailmon trip from Terminal City, it also seems to be quite a center for trouble... One of the many eclectic wards, Little Edo was formed out of data on Japanese history, and manifests as a town straight out of the Warring States period. The primary Trailmon who services the Little Edo locale is known as "Musashi".

Lilivus Valley

An area overrun in foliage, it contains great forests and valleys that lead off into a mountainous region occupied by Dragon Digimon.

Native Forest

A deep forest where Insect Digimon call home, as well as various Beast-types. Though mostly peaceful, it can be very easy to enrage some of the wilder inhabitants. The Zone Master is the child-like and energetic Kintaromon.

Limit Valley

A mountainous area where Dragon Digimon prosper. These Digimon tend to be very competitive, and will do anything for a good fight so as to sharpen their combat skills.
Warsong Fortress
The capitol of the Dragon Digimon, it is a great fortress city designed for absolute defense. Whenever a problem occurs within Limit Valley, the worst case scenario is enacting the Limit Army that lies within the fortress. The entire structure is the home of the Zone Master CaptainGreymon.

Great Hammer

The other side of the mountainous region, Great Hammer is made up of proud smiths working away in their forges to produce high quality weaponry, armor, tools and the like.
Crystal Vein Mines
A rich source of Digimentals and Digizoid material, it is much sought after by warring tribes. It is defended by Master of Beasts, though he is currently traveling...

Clockwork Savannah

A greatly developed region, it contains many factories and research facilities. Machine Digimon mainly reside here.

Chronostone Gardens

A technorganic paradise filled with silver streets and great holographic art suspended over it. The greatest attraction are the ever-floating hanging crystal garden exhibits scattered about the city. This rather peaceful city is home to the Zone Master Primusmon....or should be. The Zone Master is currently missing..

Speed City

A city devoted, if not obsessed with the sport of racing, to the point the entire city is one big set of race tracks. Races are constantly held in celebration everyday, and most disputes are solved through the sport. Though it seems extremely odd, Speed City's crime rate is very small because of it.

Steelion Factory

The largest establishment in the factory district, it specializes in weapons and armor. A lot of shady deals go down in this place..
Scrap Town
Sitting on the outskirts of the Steelion Factory area, Scrap Town is an old passer-by settlement that serves as the base of operations for the Gear Dan faction. Things tend to explode. A lot.

Ether Jungle

The only natural portion of the region, locals try not to go near it as stories of hauntings and disappearances surround this mysterious foliage. Denizens of nearby settlements use the jungle as a means of proving bravery.

Nightwhisper Caverns

Nightwhisper Caverns A vast underground community, there are few to no light sources within the caverns and any and all valleys are trapped in perpetual night. Despite this, the small amounts of light make for beautiful scenery.

Shik'torin Plateau

The highest point in the cavern area, it always looks like a party had taken place there the night before. Mostly younger denizens come out here looking for fights, so be careful.

Crimson Monastery

An ancient ruin that once housed many a Warrior Digimon, it is rich with relics and legends, and home to very strong Digimon. Do not enter thinking lightly of the competition. Though not a fully fledged Zone it is deemed hazardous enough to warrant the need for a Zone Master, the enigmatic Nyarlathmon.

Shadowveil

A place of eternal night, Demon Digimon tend to make their home here. Though generally friendly if not forward they don't take kindly to the sight of Vaccine Digimon. Currently the city is in a panic because one of the crown princesses has gone missing. The Zone Master is the mysterious Shiryoumon. A rather somber and quiet Trailmon, "Dark" services the area as a sort of 'subway' train.
Castle Obscura
Home to the wealthy and powerful La Obscura family of Vampire Digimon, the majestic and mystically-inclined castle serves as the home base for the Stability faction of Tamers.
The Velvet Room
A sumptuously appointed establishment in the heart of Shadowveil, this Digimon cocktail lounge is covered in dark blue velvet decor--hence its name--and is famous for its inventive drinks, its haunting music, and perhaps most of all its proprietor's odd predilection towards fortune-telling, especially tarot. The bar's owner is Igormon, whose long-nosed, huge-eyed visage greets every visitor personally.

It's also rumored that a famous Analog TV personality broadcasts a show from here at odd hours...
Darkholm Opera House
Marked as a Historic Point, the old Opera House defies logic that it is still standing and capable of supporting the weight of more than air. Home to Temporal Anomalies, this place has a very strong attraction for ghosts, ghouls, and memories. The energy in this place seems strong enough to give those memories some substance and seems able to keep hold of them essentially in the walls themselves.

"This place has very strong links with time... and lost souls...
--Dynasmon

Blindstorm Point

An area that seems to be in the middle of an endless snowstorm. It is very dangerous to venture here without protection or a guide. Its Zone Master is Glaidramon.
The Crystal Arena
A mysterious tower that came about due to the Second Crash. It is home to more sporting combat within the Media Archipelago.

Luminous Island

Luminous Island A bright, lively region, several parts of it float amongst the clouds, and it is by far the highest region on Media Island. Avian and Holy Digimon make their homes here. Below this society is beautiful beaches on smaller islands and a vast sea leading into the Net Ocean. Aquatic Digimon mostly reside here.

Starsong Vale

A collection of stratospheric communities as well as access to the three moons of the Digital World. Oddly enough it's still possible to breath here, though it is amazingly chilly.
Mt. Moonsong
The tallest peak in the digital world and home to the Zonemaster Favonimon, who watches over the powers and beings mostly associated with wind. Her home is a perpetual spring resort palace that is never too cold or hot or humid and is known for the both the family friendly parties and more raucous fun. Everyone is always welcome and invited, just play nice.
Cometchaser Village
A gateway to the stars, Cometchaser Village covers all the communities on the Digital World's three moons.
Aurora City
The capitol of industry in Starsong Vale, it excels in the making of weapons and transportation.

Encode Sea

A great blue sea that leads out into the Net Ocean, many villages are set up here, both above the water and below the depths.

Witchelny

A distinct and separate "server" located within the Digital World, it is home and origin of all magically based Digimon... Previously, due to both the Royal Knights' rebellion and the rampage of the dark DigiArchetype "Zero", Witchelny was sealed from entry or exit, but it has since become widely accessible.

Motherboard Continent

A rocky no-man's-land that is the Digital World Parallel to Australia.

Server Continent

A large, mostly arid landmass in the general locality of North America, with several other constantly shifting environmental localities. The dominant Tamer group, inasmuch as one exists, is the Freelancers, though recently they've splintered into small subgroups.

Folder Continent

A continent rivaling the size of Server located in the general vicinity of the Real World's Europe. Though vast in terms of space, it is ruled almost without opposition by the European branch of the Crowns.
