Danbiramon is a ten foot long dragon composed of dark blue scales with a black underbelly, all refined to a great roughness with the only nonabrasive point on him being a few points on his back for riders. This is a development of the Digimon so enemies avoid the urge to grab him. Around the midpoint of his frame he bears large bat like wings that can fold up along his body to reduce wind resistance. His horned head, one on the nose and two long black ones that curl out the back of his head, has two sets of eyes that glow white endlessly and allow him several views of his surroundings at once. At the end of his body his tail splits into two equally large appendages that wrap around a pair of hooked, silver bladed swords that he handles with great proficiency.

Etymology

Japanese: 段平 (danbira), meaning 'broadsword' or 'sword'.

Background

Danbiramon are often depicted in statues and carvings as a strong fighter and those objects, for a time, were actually a popular collectable item. However, when they began to be hunted themselves, the existing items quickly became harder and harder to come by and were even destroyed.

The dragons are known for their agility and sword skills.

Attacks

Dragon's Blade

Danbiramon's Tail Swords emanate a dark aura. He then spins in the air and brings his swords down, lashing out with two large energy blades of darkness at the enemy.

Shadow Scythe

Danbiramon combines his tails into one, and a black mist with a large silver blade extends from this combination. Danbiramon can then slash at will with the weapon, able to de-stabilize a Digimon with repeated swings.

Silver Seeker

Danbiramon's body shoots out silver darts all over the field. He then throws his Tail Swords, the weapons flying after everything hit by the silver darts.

Final Charge

Danbiramon releases his Tail Swords and curls himself into a clean circle, forming a gate. The Tail Swords will then spin out and hunt down targets, dragging them towards either side the gate that once entered will assault them with a scourge of demonic fire. If the targets have silver darts in them, the damage is doubled.
