Kimuraimon are experts in the use of traps and trickery, and can easily get a feel for an area, using their surroundings to spell their enemies' doom; along with the poison that permeates their body.

Etymology

Japanese: Heptathela kimurai is the scientific classification of a specific species of spider. Also known as the kimura-gumo or kimura spider, it's an Old World spider, found primarily in Japan and named after Arika Kimura, who discovered it in 1920.

Background

Despite being Spider Digimon, they favor a scorpion somewhat in appearance. Their silk, while beautiful and diaphanous, is notorious for being a contact poison that causes intense hallucinations. Though they can use an attack to trap prey, they find absolute delight in setting up a trap and laying in wait for someone to trigger it...

Nightmare Silk

Fires a spray of silk that causes hallucinations if touched.

Spider's Parlor

An outline traces itself in an area. Stepping into that area causes the ground to collapse; trapping the target.

Bakumayu [M]

Fires a round or oval-shaped cocoon that explodes on impact.

Bakutama [F]

Fires a large egg that explodes on impact.

Phantasmal Stinger

Rears up and suddenly reveals a large stinger, with which it mercilessly impales the enemy.
