And the last of them! The Dead Number hasn't been drawn in...*a bit*, and the last time I drew it was years ago and thus clunky. It's design in the front is supposed to be frightfully simple, something easily manufactured to look like everything else as that is the way of order. The back...yeah I wanted to make it terrifying. Design base was the Darkness Loader and the newer Digivices/Phones from Last Evolution Kizuna. The number of "eyes" that appear in the "Consume Mode" denotes the rank/importance of the wielder, with Albert for example having five while a newbie or a Rectifier would have one.

The Dead Number phones feel the most like a tokusatsu designed-to-be-a-toy look by far, but that's not a bad thing. Ya'll have awakened me to Kamen Rider so now I think this shit is cool as fuck lmao I love it, def one of my fave designs

Not too much to change here, I actually got inspiration from the VERY first PET design used in BN1 and 2 and never used in the anime only the manga. Keeping with the book style I adjusted the design to allow for the ability to put it in a "Tablet Mode". The (English) Digital Script engraved on every one says "WE BRING STABILITY". The key shape really isn't apparent with I suppose a loose chevron going on.

I always liked the 'book' idea for Stability, and even the little inscription really drives their vibe home. Admittedly I find the Almost-W shape in the middle weirdly distracting, but everything else is sleek.

Yeah, keeping the book design and single unfolded screen helps make this distinct. I like how the tab is positioned so one half of it becomes asymmetrical when unfolded.

The Grimoires, of all the phones, should be foldable and the whole phone-table hybridness really works because they're supposed to be book-like, and it adds a bit of sleek mysticism. Also that inscription is nice. 8D

...I should fiddle with how Alma's arm-Grimoire works, maybe it can extend to full tablet mode too. o 3o;

Where it all started. I liked the heavy industrial look of the original so I continued on that like of those while using the PET Progress as a design basis. The key shapes here are "triangles".

This one was all about smoothing things up. Each faction Digivice has various shapes to their designs, and for the Crowns I opted for more of an angular approach, rhombuses and such to create an almost shield-like design. It's equipped with multiple holo-emitters, meaning that usually users hardly have to open it to use its functions.

The Caliburn is the most...I want to say obviously super-fancy of the D-Phone models, and it fits. It's got all these features because it's Circuits Infinity so of course it does, and it transforms because OF COURSE IT DOES. XD

And here's the Champion! A key thing for the faction Digivices was "screen real estate", so I had to figure out how to get more screen while still allowing things to look interesting. Turns out, unlike the Commander, this and the other Digivices were more based on the various PET, Transer, Star Carrier, and Hunter VG units from the Rockman.EXE/Mega Man Battle Network and Ryusei no Rockman/Mega Man Starforce games.

The Champion is a multi-screen touch based Digivice. When Soma designed them he utilized curvature to make for a smoother LoE flow throughout the unit and factored in the original model Digivices the Chosen wielded as a design base.

...I started all this by trying to fix up the lines on the old Digivice drawings. It started with the Oracle-III because I wanted to make sure when I made the V2 model Genome Drivers there was a design tie in.

...Then I failed at refining and straight up Endless Waltz'd all of the Digivices. D8

So! Let's start with the standard Digivice given to non-faction Tamers. The Commander is made for easy packing, having an optional hook case that allows the Digivice to hang from a belt loop, keychain, bag, etc.

Graham: Yeah, this was supposed to be part of the Initiative design from the first, but I never quite sketched it up until now. ; 3; But here it is, the Daedalus Initiative's (standard) helmet design! It's actually integrated into every ATHENA uniform, but it can de-resolve or fold away into the uniform as necessary, then be reconsituted as needed with a simple voice command.

The front of the helmet acts like combination one-way glass and computer screen--usually it displays the THESEUS-XIII Division's zodiacal symbol of the wearer. It can also become transparent enough to show their face.

Notable amongst people who do NOT wear this helmet, ever, is of course Regulus D. Noinheim. >_>

Dead Numbers = REALLY FUCKING BAD NEWS LIKE WTF NATURAL DISASTER Level. They're the ones who really mess up the Contracters, and can mess with their powers, Contracts, and Digimon. Oh, and they tend to have really negative powers of their own. At least, that's what I understand of them. That said, this is a really fucking awesome piece and I can't wait to see one in action.
