Ok, so I didn't have time to join in on Drawloween, so with Sun and Moon coming out next month I've made my OWN drawing challenge >D

I did have a pre-existing challenge thing to use, but I realized that it didn't include Bug, Steel, OR Poison types X__X. So I just made my own and changed up the order of stuff. If anyone wants a copy of my list poke me on Discord.

Rules; 2 hour limit. Have to use lineart, can't just paint my way through the challenge.

This was more of an exercise to see exactly how long a "simple" drawing would take. Given that this took nearly EIGHT HOURS I feel like I need to step up my game. This is really only worth like... $30, but in order to make it match I'd have been working for $4 an hour. Not cool man.

On the flip side, was fun redoing old sketcher pics again. Combined two pics into one. Used the Kira~ pic's outfit with one of her first ever images' pose.

Been working on a couple of Perfect levels for Katharine to use. Mostly the same digimon, but BIOTionmon is the female variant with Olivia taking the first dive into the Jogress evolution.

All of the plugs on the suit actually operate as plugs. Katharine sits in the cockpit of BIOTionmon and is hooked up with the digimon's senses. Allows her to process the field, boosts her DE, and is about as close as you can get to Biomerging as far as mind/body connections go.

Would have liked to included some fluid, but since his dick is currently a glow stick it would have just been murder on my eyes, and likely not even worth the effort. Part 2 of my kick my own ass challenge. The sketch on this one took me significantly LONGER to do than the previous one given that the arm positions were so bloody off >___<

Still, really pleased with both pics! Especially the lighting effects in both. Having ready access to the gradient tool is such a relief.

Also! I made my own brush tool settings for the lace. Took me a few hours to design the lace but only like.... 5 minutes of trial and error to get them placed correctly on the bra and such? It's an art deco pattern though, so I imagine I'll use it as a border or something in future pics.

I did the original six years ago.

While I still like the perspective I used more in the original, I think everything else about this version is better from the background to the anatomy.

Finally bought Clip Paint studio and I think the results speak for themselves here.

airbrush tool I used for the snowflakes allowed me to increase the size of the individual particles and increase the distance between them. CRAZY useful for snow and debris settings. Hell, even has use for manga comic effects.

After testing out this new program I am definitely sold on it. Granted, getting this even POSTED was a pain in the ass. I was aware that I wouldn't be able to save my progress, but I thought that meant I couldn't save project files.

NO, THEY MEANT ANY KIND OF SAVING, EVEN EXPORTING NOT ALLOWED.

SAI for some reason wouldn't even let me crop the image so I had to go pixel by pixel to even get my work saved X__X

I am not as pleased with this as I could be just because it had to be done basically in one sitting, hoping that my computer wouldn't turn itself off and lose my progress.

Won Jason's livestream sketch raffle last week and spent most of the weekend finishing this puppy. Gave myself the challenge of NOT using smooth coloring and relying entirely on cell-shading. ;-; it was hard. I missed my paint brush tools so bad but I think it turned out pretty awesome.

This just looks tasty. The iridescence of the scales really comes through with the coloring and using shading to apply the abs worked out nicely.

If anything, I'd watch your lower body there. It starts to thin up a bit much before hitting the waist. Or maybe that's just the size of the tits making me think that.

I really dig the range in Sariel's transformations compared to a lot of other characters in game including my own. It's like she really gives herself to the power of each Digimental.

That and the Crest of Determination looks damn solid. Making Crests is a pain in the ass and even now I want to redo a lot of the ones I did to make them cleaner. This one just LOOKS like it fits in all the Digimon canon.

If there was anything I would say to work on, I get that Sariel and Synne are thicker below the belt but for the lower legs that fabric is really making her lower legs look thicker then you have them in other drawings. Perhaps add in just a touch of grey outline to her inner legs to show that they taper more.

Also it sucks that I wanna draw hentai of her but her hair intimidates me. ._.; I mean all your hair renditions intimidate me but I've seen you nearly cleave the table with your stylus over this hair. The fear is real.

Would I get any strange looks if I said that "Resolve" works better than "Determination" for the name of a digimental? Maybe it's just the number of syllables make it a bit clunkier, but I see "Resolve" as a bit more poetic and easier to roll off the tongue.

Yeah, Determination is the same amount of syllables as Imagination, only 5, which is still one less than Reliability; which is 6 and a Canon Digimental. lol ^ 3^;~

The toe rings are different and an interesting touch. I did like the Crest, though I first said, "Haha, triforce," then noticed the heart.

Cam has a point about her legs, though, maybe a little of it is the 'glaringly obvious' kneecaps and their position? Her feet do look a little bigger too, though, so... I dunno. But, I know that bare feet are hard. ; 3; Similarly, I also get that people age and that Digimentals shift appearances, but I swear Sariel keeps looking older and older with each drawing of her. @___@;

Justin's fairly accurate too, Cypher absolutely appreciates this Digimental's effect. > 3> lol

That said, now that all the Rainbow Crystals are gathered, when does the Silver Crystal appear?

Yeah, I like the toe rings and her outfit is neat, but her legs just...do not look right proportions-wise. Her arms, even, look a little thick even for her build. o 3o;;

The crystals look great and I dig the effect, though I'd add more "gold" to the "white gold". Though that's just me.

Also I'm kinda disappointed, I thought Determination would give her back less dark hair. >_>; I mean, sure bright rainbow is blinding, but...

So, I salvaged the awkward cheesecake attempt and worked out a facial design from the most generic face I could have sketched up XD

I'll be doing a followup for her with some outfits both summer and winter I think.

Nah nah, there is a shade into the green spectrum you'll want to adjust here.

Ethnically she looks interesting, like somewhere between Asian and Native American. Thaaat said, you may want to tone down on her skin because she's looking a touch orange there, and the chin could use some leveling off as it's looking pretty long there. The position of the mouth and nose are fine, just level down her chin.

The blue armor parts are nice and shiny, giving a nice lethal quality while also pushing that asymmetry, and for something so "nice" as Reliability the dangerous design of the additions really show how Sariel views that attribute to be.

Also eye effect was very much inspired by Sans from Undertale. Her eyes show normally like in Cam's drawing most of the time, but supersrs time we get this glowy one-eye effect.

Alas, Kasumi's didn't come out as well as my first one, but to be fair, only so much you can do with pale green skin T___T pallet limits are testing me...! But I feel like I've learned more about mixing colors in the process o3o

Hmmm..Love how the curls came out but there's a touch too much roundness. It's aging her down, I think, which is what I find helps with creating a spooky image but I feeel the volume of hair could have been increased.

This is the creepiest damn Devimon I've ever seen. There's a Homestuck feel to the way you rendered him that is simply unnerving. With maybe a small filter this is a jump scare waiting to happen.
