A Knight-like Digimon, Kidodramon is covered in plates and guards. Despite his semi-light-like appearance thanks to his armor, he is still primarily a Shadow-Based Digimon.

Etymology

Japanese/English: 木戸番 (kidoban), meaning 'doorman' or 'gatekeeper', and "dra", short for 'dragon'.

Meaning: "Dragon Gatekeeper Digimon"

Background

Kidodramon was a form that Auren achieved to assist Shugotenshi in his Vigilante Persona; the Rider. As his B-Line Evolution, this form is never used outside of times with said Vigilante.

He is very protective of the Rider, and is also nearly silent except when he needs to speak. His voice different from Kurotatsumon, and it almost matches the altered voice of "The Rider"; making it difficult to tell who's speaking sometimes. He has the ability to "Shadow Step", but uses it mostly to keep up with Rider on his bike, as it takes his full concentration and isn't fit for mid-battle usage.

Of note, his Final Charge is meant to be a failsafe to protect Rider; or anyone he uses it for; at all costs.

Attacks

Shadow Cross

He pulls the sword from his side-sheathe and swiftly slashes an X Shape in the air in front of himself. The X-Shaped energy then flies forward very swiftly.

Eclipse Cleave

Pulling his sword from its sheathe, Kidodramon holds it before him in a defensive pose, blade out, and charges it with energy, which slashes to fire off a massive wave of energy that explodes on contact.

Skyward Strike

Kidodramon dashes at the enemy, sword out and behind him, and executes a rapid upwards slash that sends the enemy soaring into the air; he then flies up and cuts the enemy harshly with a sword burning with shadow energies.

Final Charge

Kokuei Kabaitate

Kidodramon exerts most of his energy. A form of pure light which dives directly at its intended 'protect' target. Once reaching his target, the form creates a light barrier around himself and his target(s). The more he chooses to protect, the less time he can maintain this barrier. The form that stands before the target(s) is that of a young man with strikingly similar features to Shugotenshi himself. If enough opposing LoE or energy is placed on the shield, it will shatter. Kidodramon will literally be out of moves at that point, as he won't have the energy to do much else than vanish.
