Waibamon is a small Digimon about the size of a kitten. He walks on his two hind legs and uses his tiny arms to hold and grab things. His wings are dark and fold against his back, tipped with two small claws. His tail is long and flattens near the tip, splitting into a club shape, helping his agility in-flight.

Etymology

English/Romaji: "waibaan" (ワイバーン) is the received Japanese pronunciation of wyvern. A wyvern is a two-legged dragon, often seen in Anglo-Saxon mythology.

Background

Waibamon are the Baby-II forms of Kurotatsumon. Their communication is usually limited to 3-4 word sentences, and seem much better at non-verbal communication.
