"Seventh Sword" was a title put upon Shugotenshi at the end of the Shadow Riders arc, and it was made to come off as the equivalent of the Guardian program that Celia is in.

And then I was given time to build on it and yeah, it is *very* different. Like the fact that "Seventh Sword" isn't a title alone it is a rank, and Shugotenshi is currently at the bottom rung of that particular ladder.

Thuriamon was more difficult as the reference had no color and was a bit too busy with the lines but having drawn the Child- and Adult-levels prior really helped in tying design aspects together.

Yeah, you can really see how the aspects of PrinDomon articulate into Thuriamon here, and it also uses the key visuals of her inspiration without going overboard. o uo Very cool!

I love living weapons, what can I say. And it's not simply a living sword, this is also a Digimon like Yukito's Swordedgemon. So Thuriamon is a pretty high-tier Perfect, kinda like a level-appropriate version of Alphamon Ouryuken.

Right so. As Cam has said Malice can take many forms. But sometimes Malice can from a more primal source. An instinctual hatred rooted to our core.

The Digimental of Malice plays on a person's own hatred. Growing in strength the more hatred, the more malicious feelings they have. Currently this Digimental has not made an appearance in setting, but it will as somepoint. It can neither be associated with the SINS nor with the Madness. It is it's own category or maybe it doesn't fit into any Digimental Category. Time will tell when it appears, and it's source may be revealed one day as well.

This Digimental idea came from too many sources to list, but Mononoke was a big one. The idea of a Digimental empowering and amplifying a person's or digimons hatred was appealing because in hate, in Malice, it does not matter if it is person who is good natured or ill natured. Is either good or evil. Jovial or an asshole. Malice is universal, and even the best mannered and good natured person will harbor some form of malice in their heart.

Been a DAMN long while since we've seen Iris and her Fairleomon formation for Lagomon cuz...well...that required redesigns we never got to. ^^;; After realizing that crap, we actually need her for the Malice Arc, it was time to hunker down and get her visualized. After several ref pics for styles, trying to edge away from some of the African iconography in some aspects and also tie in Iris now having Dinoforce integrated with her LoE, I got this put together.

And then on top of that, great work taking the couple refs we were throwing around for the redesign and diversifying them with some unrelated ones to get to something that feels really original.

OK so it wasn't "later today" but I've been stewing on these for a little bit and after binging 30-minute loops of the English dub version of Mega Man X 4's theme song we now have a proper showcase of the Royal Knight Armed Forces emblems. Base, army, air force, and navy. This doesn't include special units like Omegamon's XIII Arms unit also known as the Inquisitors or UlforceVeedramon's Tensegrity Unit, but hey, now we have an image to go with the anti-human sentiment.

Worked with Justin on this one trying to get a good balance between the name of the pirate crew while also keeping that Sentai reference (Gokaiger) that keeps out blood boiling hot. There are actually two other Sentai teams used as reference in this picture. Can you tell which ones? >.>

Also yeah, expect emblems for the RK forces soon. Maybe even today if I got the drive.

Two of the four Yggdrasil-backed human factions have visited the secretive and sacred Zone of the Impfelmon, beholding the tower that holds a Digimon Yggdrasil and Ragnarok sealed away long ago. Why for? What made them seal it and not outright destroy it? Only time will tell.

And time is running out.

This was really fun, not gonna lie. Once I got in the groove I didn't even need side projects to keep my busy. ^^

A loooot of Markiplier videos died in the making of this one, though. Thank the lord that man has a backlog.

So this was a fun one. Years ago and yes I mean literal years Evie was working on concepts for an OC she could use for lewd storytelling, and in her studies she passed me over this drawing of a lass with horns licking at a popsicle (giggity). She couldn't think of anything to do with it so seeing Katharine in it I decided to take a swing!

....Now years later as I desperately try to get more drawings out before I see if this coming school year will break me I decided to go back into the unfinished WIP file and after several hours of music where I wasn't working on a commission this came out.

...And then adjustments.

....And then I said I needed more of her body in the shot.

Honestly, if you can salvage my stream of mind sketches that I get too frustrated with like this one, I'd feel a lot better about doing those kinds of sketch dumps more often. There were SO many issues with the pose cause I didn't have my figure drawing fundamentals down - I still don't feel like I do, but watching you fix it helped me understand my frustrations with it in the first place. <3

LOVE the lightning and the sassier expression we ended up changing her to. He drove her crazy and now it's clearly her turn

There are many rebel groups within the Digital World, those that are strongly against the rule of the Royal Knights!

But everyone knows the old saying about "too many cooks spoil the soup", and with so many with no guiding principle everyone is against the Royal Knights for their own personal gain.

Among them is Beast Out. A rebellion group that first appeared in-game during the Second Fangear Rebellion led by Peter Elric. A massive campaign to take the Tower of Yggdrasil, it fell apart when the Royal Knights were able to screw up their time tables. Many rebels were deleted that day, with Beast Out making it off the field and consolidating many of the surviving Beast Digimon that participated in other groups into the fold. Their desire for the Digital World? Beast Digimon supremacy, of course. They've also been harboring the former partner of Guardian Lion and have kept him in a very malleable mental state...

So yeah, I figured they've been in some threads, are in one right now, and will appear again during and after the Malice Arc, so I figured I should slap this one together.

Sooooo yeah. >_> ICARUS is the Section the RPers like the least, for some reason, I guess people get all huffy about mad science these days, but LABYRINTH is the Section characters in the Initiative like the least. >_> You hear dudes in THESEUS bitching about “HR”, “the brass”, “the fun police” or “the bureaucrats”? That’s these guys! They say the mark of whether you’ve got real power in Section I is whether you wear the emblem as a patch or badge (low-ranking LABYRINTH personnel have to do this) or you get to have it as a cool lapel pin (Zoe Early has a very prominent pin with a very bright red “I”.)

Everyone knows I’m a big Cthulhu Mythos guy, and I have a whole reservoir of ideas for it, mostly for the Delta Green setting. And one of the ideas quietly kept on the back burner is the “Mermaid Fanciers’ Society”, a cult/society/problem group that’s basically a bunch of college kids who have horny encounters with the Deep Ones (Mythos fish people) and get inducted into Cthulhu worship and post it online.

So Cam and I are talkin, Aquan Digimon fuckers get mentioned, AND I tell him that hey a DU version of this group would…just be Aquan fuckers. That’s it, that’s the club’s (w)hole goal. AND NOW THEY EXIST

GREAT work with eh composition - the whole thing feels like some official promotional art. Which, considering that this is a fan made project we run out of our metaphorical basements held together with tape and hot glue, is worth every ounce of praise that phrase has to offer.

Yeah, this came out awesome o 3o I really dig how all of the featured chars have their own vibe that varies based on their particular stakes/situation here.

And I agree XD There is a sort of "upcoming arc promo art" feeling to it with the way it' put together.

Also, as previously commented, while it was probably unintentional on your part, I am definitely here for how Divine Crown Lion Nana feels like she's drawn with some more similarity to Shugo >_>

Nana: We've been over this u 3u~ Shugo's embraced his inner hotness, so it's natural that his half-sibling resemblance to me is more noticeable now o 3o

I’d love to see some rougher concept sketches so that I get a better 3d visualization of her face shape - cause that hair is begging for me to color it.

Wanted to add that you did a great job pushing away from your usual face shapes, especially with pushing the nose length more while still keeping the eyes large.

I was given an ethnicity and after looking at some photos I used Nico Robin from One Piece as a starting point for how I wanted the nose to look. That and a looooot of YuGiOh girls, especially the ones after 5D's since that's when the dual toned hairstyles started to crop up on more than just the main character.

And another artifact, this time of Asher's full helm when he enters heavy combat. Made of modified Chrome Digizoid alloy laced with Blue Digizoid for speed and loaded with all sorts of tech and countermeasures, it is the most direct translation of the FATE nanocomplex , integrated with it 100% without having to, you know, tear his skin apart. Originally more knight looking, Asher requested that it be redesigned to be less heroic. This face is for the enemy, not the victims.

Perhaps he needs a second opinion. >_>; Anyone want to supply one...or several?

Another artifact because fuck it, I've lost control of my life. 8D;

Seventh Seat of GEMINI Division and Vice President of St. Eld's Student Council, Ianthe is a flamboyant theatre kid to her very core. Despite being in high school like her Vice-Captain she fits the glamorous babe aesthetic that Cpt. Vermillion surrounds himself with. As a seated officer she is a ringbearer, in her case equipped with the Truth Ring by her commanding officer. I was told her flamboyance extends to her eyewear, and binging Kamen Rider Legend (GORGEOUS) clips contributed to what was originally a pretty simple design you could find in any glasses store.
