Graham: Yeah, this was supposed to be part of the Initiative design from the first, but I never quite sketched it up until now. ; 3; But here it is, the Daedalus Initiative's (standard) helmet design! It's actually integrated into every ATHENA uniform, but it can de-resolve or fold away into the uniform as necessary, then be reconsituted as needed with a simple voice command.

The front of the helmet acts like combination one-way glass and computer screen--usually it displays the THESEUS-XIII Division's zodiacal symbol of the wearer. It can also become transparent enough to show their face.

Notable amongst people who do NOT wear this helmet, ever, is of course Regulus D. Noinheim. >_>

The lighting definitely gets the mood across, but it also makes it really hard to tell what's going on. The only bit of color that you can really make out form Miko is her skirt, the rest looks almost ghostly.

But again, that actually adds to the feeling of the picture.

Some rough concept art for Fayiz, a half-Arabian student who'll be a new Crown.

Want his clothing to be fashionable, but asymmetric, hence the different sleeves. Will prolly swap out the wrap on his leg for a pair of belts there or something. His choice of footwear, however, is unfortunately mostly missing here >_>

And a little series I will be jumping in and out on. The factions in DU have their own histories. The Freelancers and Stability not so much as they are young, but the Crowns and Daedalus Initiative have been around longer and though some of the Crown's history has been touched upon, and I want to go through it more, NONE of Daedalus' history has really been touched upon beyond the horrors of what happened to Alma Morino.

SO. Let's start with this dude here.

Alexander Hercules was the Captain of Division V: LEO, before Regulus D. Noinheim came along. He was a loud, boisterous man and kept Division V very much like a very sizable gang. Division 5 was full of ruffians, and was supposed to be measured assault, but was very much just wreck shit and drink, making them not as effective as they could be.

In comes Regulus, at the time the Vice-Captain of the Captain of Division XIII OPHIUCHUS, Kikako Kurokawa. Regulus, under orders, challenges Alexander to combat to see who should be the leader of Division V. Alexander, not thinking much of any of Kurokawa's Chimeratech soldiers, he accepted. Aaaaand Regulus wrecked his shit. Horribly. Left beaten, battered, burned, and broken, Captain Hercules gave up his position by force as he was ruled unable to continue combat operations AT. ALL. The only remainder of his tenure are the facial tattoos that some of his former subordinates, including Taniya Richards, carry.

Dead Numbers = REALLY FUCKING BAD NEWS LIKE WTF NATURAL DISASTER Level. They're the ones who really mess up the Contracters, and can mess with their powers, Contracts, and Digimon. Oh, and they tend to have really negative powers of their own. At least, that's what I understand of them. That said, this is a really fucking awesome piece and I can't wait to see one in action.
