And here's a sketch of Arina.

The tattoo on her... lower stomach >_>; is the second part of the "Oath of Order". You may notice how it includes the same markings as under her eyes. The third and "complete" part is tattooed on the small of her back.

Bit of photoshop magic has corrected things a bit x 3x Arm 'n stuff's still a bit big though. I needa stay more conscious of certain proportions when sketching.

Bluh, moar lazy art. Though in this case trying to get some concepts down >.>

On the left is Arina Otafiire, the soon to be new 3rd seat of AQUARIUS, and on the right is Aleksandr Otafiire, Arina's older brother and the soon to be new Vice-Captain of AQUARIUS.

They are the children of an Ugandan woman and a Russian mercenary - though following the death of their mother and disappearance of their father when Arina was 3 and Aleksandr was 4, they were taken in and raised by a group of mercenaries.

...Though it wasn't a "normal" group of mercenaries. It was one with a bit of a Knights Templar complex, albeit a pragmatic one. The siblings were raised to respect certain principles and with the understanding that they owed a "debt" for their upbringing. In order to repay this debt, they would have to kill a certain individual. Upon coming of age, they swore an oath that they would uphold certain vows until their debt was paid.

The marks under their left eyes are the first part of the "Oath of Order" of those who raised them. They also have tattoos of second and third, complete, parts on their bodies.

Aleksandr and Arina have conflicting personalities; they differ in how they interpret their vows, and as such, how they carry themselves. Aleksandr appears more easygoing on the surface and doesn't seem to take his duties as seriously as his sister. And also despite the fact that his sister is a more proficient combatant, Aleksandr was given the higher position because he has more "raw" power and combat potential between him and his partner, while Arina's Digimon partner is more suited for support.

Interesting backstories there and it does give off more of what this world does in the shadows. I'm all for knowing there are powers out there that aren't part of the Digital World conflict.

Real quick cause I'm tired.

But ya, took me ages to figure out what Kasumi'd turn into.

The main issues were making her completely unthreatening (Since Celia is scared of her >_>) while keeping her themes and such.

So of course she should be lolified, cause lolis are too adorable to be threatening. Then I came up with making her a sort of vegan vampire today, by having her drink only tomato juice.

Then it sort of hit me. I'd heard of a vegetable juice drinking vampire before.

Was working on a post for Sariel in Gaia Blade, and then it occured to me that we didn't have proper symbols for Ragnarok and Yggdrasil, as Gods I mean, not just Fallen (which has the connotation of well... falling from power and not being a complete god anymore)

So I pulled from Graham's original design for the Fallen and the Hazard to make Ragnarok's original glyph, and from that I worked on Yggdrasil's using Rag's and the Zero Unit as a template.

Thoughts?

I'm particularly fond of the Ragnarok emblem. I love them both, no doubt, but that particular one really shows how things were before Ragnarok's fall from grace.

Juuust remember, folks. Old Ragnarok models, Chosen, and Digimon have this mark. Sentinel only has the Fallen version.

Ooooohhhh I like these concepts. ^^ There's this nice...machine-like quality to both. Yggdrasil's mark makes me think of the Yggdrasil from Savers, who was very robotic even as a good guy, and the inclusion of the Zero Unit is a lovely sign for "Evolution".

And, well, Ragnarok's is perfect for the un-fallen Father of Machines. 8D

Here's Urara, who I felt like drawing for some reason. Not sure if I completely nailed the perspective/proportions, but think it came out nicely.

Played around a bit - switched from the slightly darker/more blueish shade of green I had originally used to something a lot closer to what Jason uses for her. Think it works well. Also tried to get her eyes to look brighter.

Ya, her eyes are awesome. The arm's a bit wonky, but you could do far worse. Need to shorten the forearm and twist that hand back a bit, so the angle is on the other side, or facing the viewer head on. I'd also say the hips can be wider, or more shapely, but hey. The head also turned out pretty good, and the hair looks nice.

Also, yes, Urara is great at making Freya wanna run away and hide forever >_> xD

I kinda held back on her hips, the perspective there was a bit hard to judge since her visible shoulder is kinda angled forward and all. They should be wider.

The Alma arc is bringing us so many different new developments! All the way from the unplanned and spur of the moment (Jade's freedom) to the meticulously planned and geniusly hinted out for nearly 5 years, since DU began, with most people having absolutely no idea (Take a guess 8DDD).

One such development is Kuuhaku's new sisterly bond with Riiko. Which is basically what led to this pic o 3o;; The last couple pics have been Riiko-designs and I've wanted to draw Kuuhaku again (and my Graham birthday pic was kinda sloppy).

Update for Celia's redeemed/Digital Guardian look. This one doesn't feel as plain.

Very quickjly sketched before bed, proportions be damned, so i wouldn't forget.

Colorwise, still lots of white. I also like this one cause I think it looks like Riiko's fashion sense had some influence.

Made a few adjustments as the anatomy was bugging me.

Thinned the face some as it was bothering me. Made her look like she had a fat head. Fixed now.

Took out some of the black lines on her breasts to make them look more natural.

Established her other ear to make for some balance.
