The idea behind Danaemon was Princess Danae, whom was locked in a tower to never be seen by men again because of a prophecy that her son would rise up to kill him someday.

Well, Zeus got her pregnant by rain and she eventually escaped the tower, just to go into hiding because of a horny king that wanted to rape and marry her.

Snake stuff is from the killing of Medusa, the mask has a similar effect as Medusa as if anyone lays eyes upon her face she is forced to use an attack that freezes her viewer with ice.

Not eyes; face.

The horns and beast-like appearance of the mask is also a reference to one of Danae's ancestors; Io.

Java crashed as I was almost done the outlines. As fate would have it, I had to re-draw Kasumi's drills in Photoshop. T 3T This thing took me 2 days because of various reasons and distractions. Hand cramps, and finally the aforementioned java crash.

I had tons of fun though, even if Kasumi still bugs me. ; 3; I'm bad at naked people. Shugo's nosebleed doesn't care, though... >_>

EDIT: And here's the finished product without the black and gray hair shading/colors. If you wanted to look. I messed up the Embarrassed one with color. >>;

Inspired both by Jason's legitimate statements on seeing her first design and a desire to give her a really original design that draws on ALL her sources, rather than just her (admitted) namesake source, here is Morino Alma, once more, lone survivor of the Lost November.

I like this redesign a lot more, frankly.

Also, decided with Shoggomon's final design out and his color schema changed to forego the weird gloves-stockings thing, relocated him to her bloodstream. A lot messier and more painful when he emerges that way, too. ;D

Season 3 revealed that The DJ was using the image of Serge Duscant as his primary avatar, and with the two now separated, Yggdrasil/The DJ and Serge have taken steps to not look like one another for the sake of there better halves. In Serge's case, it was a hair cut. In the DJ's, some facial structure changes, growth of his hair, changing the style, and leaving two lingering damaged parts (that can be seen) out for anyone to see.

To some it might seem proof that Yggdrasil can be defeated.... he sees it as proof he won't die so easily.

Also figured that since everyone now knows who he is, why bother with the brown robes. He's GOD, time to look majestic.

...but he's keeping the head phones. >_> Cuz FUCK Beats by Dre.

The shoulder strap fits... things that have been inspiring them <_< But it's not like we're on different wavelengths or anything, since the TransBadge design I had in mind is basically that with the gold surface shaped like a Crown Emblem XD

Something about Aku's robohand looks a tad off though? Like either maybe his palm surface should be a little bit smaller or his thumb should be a little bit bigger?

Elegy: Tanuki are often symbolized in manga and anime with a leaf on their head to symbolize that they are shapeshifters. In Japan, there are raccoon dogs, a specific subspecies of which is referred to as "Tanuki". Kitsune and Tanuki were once both considered 'evil', but nowadays it's just poor Kitsune considered untrustworthy... Tanuki-san has a place in shops and businesses for good luck! *flicks fox ears*

Also you should start messing around with some color, even if just base layers without any shading. Have you been using Photoshop or something else? Mostly regardless of the program, there should be some tools/options (or just layers XD ) that will allow you to color "under" the black lines and won't interfere with them.

Well, I'll assume an autodesk sketch program has layers XD So you could just make a later underneath the "sketch" to color without worrying about overlapping your lines.

Since this is your first foray into drawing characters, I would suggest keeping plenty of reference material, especially for humans. Gelbooru, despite being chock full of hentai, is a really good image source site. If you're afraid of anyone coming and looking over your shoulder, there is also safebooru.

What will really help here is to use the references to really differentiate her design from the other characters. Vary up her design so she stands out as much as her Digimon.

Drowolathmon's design has been bugging the shit out of me since I made her back in pic 1021. I wanted the spindle to be larger, the eyes to not be so visor-like, yada yada. Even the clothing bugged me. After a good (REALLY good) hentai thread using this girl, I figured it was time to fix up her design.

I also took some ideas Mariah and I were running with her Child level to continue on, such as sewing needle nails and scissors modded to be a sword. There was a ninja theme that was supposed to be there that I didn't include.

Also editing some of her stats, such as she's more like 7'2, not 8'3. that had been a biiiit much on the height department.

I do love how you flew with the child level design, and I'm okay with it not being completely ninja because I jsut wanted the flaps of cloth in the front and back lol. But I WILL add some cloth wrapping underneath there so that the armor doesn't chafe that amazing booty of hers.
